I just heard American Idol last season will be next year

I love watching it with my wife and kids... whole family gets into it.

Yep....my wife and I would watch it when Simon was a judge....tried a few seasons ago but just wasn't the same.

I'm surprised. I thought it would still be big enough that they'd carry on withit.... I would be shock if they dont come back with it after a 1 or 2 season break tbh

been yrs since i watch it and after simon and paula left it just was not the same....i doubt very few people over the age of 21 could name you the last 2 winners on the show..........

Heard that yesterday & immediately thought... "Thank goodness, finally!".

I was a big fan the first several years but since Simon left it's never been the same with cheezy judges.

Also i think it would have worked better if they had the show every TWO years instead of every year so new talent had a chance to develop...

So just because only 25% of therx may know who won last year that's why they should get rid of it?

I bet only 25% or less of therx posters know who won The Masters or the Kentucky Derby last year. Should they get rid of that to?
