Why don't teams take advantage of this guys inability/phobia of throwing to the bases?

Anytime I had a runner on base against him I would be putting the pressure on with massive leads and stolen bases.

I've only seen one team do it to him this season and it was his opening night disaster against the cards.

It's mind boggling to me that he has this fatal flaw and teams let him get away with it.

Well first off he's left handed so that prevents people from getting ridiculous leads on him. Secondly, he has a pretty quick delivery. Third, he doesn't let a lot of guys on base.

What's it matter if he's left handed when he can't throw to the base?

The cardinals took full advantage of this in the first game of the season.

I mean at some point you're tempting fate. It's not like you can just walk out halfway between the base paths while he's staring right at you.
