Got them a few months ago. Great speed but I noticed if I'm downloading a large file of 2gb it will drop the connection suddenly and you have to disconnect the cable box and modem so it can reset itself. Are they punishing users for downloading to much data too quickly?

who else uses these fuckers? If this is something they do im calling to cancel ASAP.

Almost got them when I bought this Condo, but the Building uses Opticaltel for Cable & Internet, Plus I have Dish

But I did look into Xfinity, but everyone that had it, didn't like it.

Yeah, all these cable companies fucking over the consumers. When is google internet going national so they can destroy everyone else with their mediocre service?

I've got Infinity Internet. Not a lot of choices here. I've never noticed the connection dropping when downloading a big file. Certainly not to the point of having to disconnect/restart the modem.

As far as the actual Internet goes, I have zero complaints. But their customer service is far and away the worst I have ever seen from any company in my life. I cringe when I have to call them (99% of the time it's because they mess up the bill). If you have your own modem (thus save the $8-10 a month), they will try and slip that charge on there about every other month.

If if there was a reasonable reliable competitor here, I'd switch just because of the aggravation they've caused.

Comcast is an awful company. Why do you think the name Xfinity even exists? Because Comcast sucks so bad they figured do a little rebranding.

Most of these telecommunication monopolies suck when it comes to customer service.

Comcast is the worst ever in terms of service if you ever have a problem.

Price and speed are great though.

I swore to never use comcast ever again unless it was my only option. So, after going through a bunch of shitty internet providers I finally broke down and got Xfinity internet (only). I have Direct TV for tv (which I really like). Xfinity has been fine so far (about 6 months). It's about the going rate/borderline expensive (around $60 w/ the rental fee). But it is what it is....
