The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook is excited to announce that for the first time ever, you can earn a free spot in the world's ultimate pro football handicapping competition, the SuperContest. Just found out about it today. Is there something wrong with them? Are they shady?

I don't think they are, can't really remember why I brushed them off.

The points for the entries to the contests are free. Which is nice.

Have heard about this contest in the past but never looked into it.why is a proxy server necessary? Also can i sign up for the actual contest online or do i need to be in vegas in person.

You need to be in Vegas personally to sign up, and have to put your plays in every week in person.

If you cant be in Vegas every week (17 weeks), then that's when you need a proxy to put your plays in for you.

when they first game out with this i tried to join and everytime i went to sign in i would get a notice that i am not eligible to join due to my location,......i believe thats what they said,so i contacted the company and they gave it a half ass try to get it to work for me and it did the same thing.i told them again about it and they never got back to me,....something like this should not be this hard to enter and it seemed like they could care less if someone can play or not,....to me its not worth the hassle

I hear Westgate is trying to get the phone app by football season. I wonder if they'll be able to do the contest entries from the app?

Westgate I heard will have the app running by football season, don't ask me which though. I've spoken with people at the Wynn and they are in the process of having their app built as well. Pretty soon we won't have to leave the comfort of our homes!!!

I believe the these things are over with, free entry contests past and over no more to be entered. http://supercontestsatelliteseries.com/ says that. Link included in case they add more or someone can ascertain otherwise from that site but from what i can see these free entry contests are past and done.
