Another blown opportunity for San Diego in the top of the 5th and Ross already in trouble in the bottom of the inning. Ross has already given up 9 hits with no outs in the 5th and this one certainly isn't trending my way. Seems like every time I bet the Padres, they can't score. Need Ross to at least keep this only 2-0.

After that big two out hit, I was hoping for the unlikely chance Kemp would come through and give the Padres the lead but he struck out which was the much more likely outcome. He's hitting .182 this year with 2 outs and RISP with a .445 OPS. Not exactly the type of production the padres were hoping for when the picked up the bulk of the 5 years and 100 plus million left on his contract.
