LOL that is 1 salty press release about a guy that won 65% of his games but probably to be expected from the organization that brought you "players don't win championships, organizations win championships" in regard to Michael Jordan

Below 500 in the playoffs does not get it done in Chicago, especially playing in the East. When you consistently clash with upper management, the playoff record alone is justification for them to bounce you.

I realize his years in Chicago coincided with Lebron's apex, and that he dealt with some injury woes...but this last series against Cleveland spelled his end. Specifically the lackluster effort in game 6. Great coach but he had to go after that IMO.

I think Pete Carroll might have something to say about that (re dumbest decision)

lol

fine- top 5..

As a Bulls Hater - I'm happy for this..

Maybe if Cavs lose the Finals - Cleveland can get rid of Blantt, Black, Bsomething-slightly retarded coach.. and get Thibs.

He is a great defensive coach. Probably the best in the league but he needs to learn how to manage player minutes and rotations better. Winning 5 more games in the regular season isn't worth much if you're running players into the ground.

That being said, I don't think the Bulls would've won 1 more playoff game than they did with a different coach over the last 5 years. Unless that coach was Popovich or something.

If Hoiberg tries to run his Iowa State offense in Chicago the Bulls are never going to win a champioship IMO.

if there ever was a "college" scheme that wouldn't work int he NBA.. I don't think his players even have positions.. that would be a disaster...
