If you like the Cavs to win the series over the Warriors, then you're a little better off taking Lebron to win MVP...

Good point . There is a zero percent chance of anyone besides LJ winning the MVP if the cavs win.

Eh this is questionable at best... is gaining 20 cents really worth the possibility of Kyrie going off for a series? I know I would be devastated if I had the right side but lost due to the MVP.

GS 67% to win, Klay 4.5% to win MVP. Obviously he isn't winning MVP the 33% they lose

This is saying he only wins MVP 1/16 times they win this series. Don't think so....

Agree with the OP. Jordan won some of those when he wasn't the best player.

Klay Thompson 22-1 to win finals MVP

Come with me if you want to live

I'm just sayin'

Hopefully there isn't a Jerry West situation (won finals MVP w/o team winning series, believe that is the last time that happened in American sports)

Bonds in the '03 world series was clearly by far the best player and they didn't give it to him so I don't think it is possible anymore.

Yes that's possible.

But he plays for Golden State.

Someone besides Curry on Warriors was/is much more realistic than someone other than LeBron on the Cavs winning it...

What I mean is I hope Lebrun doesn't win MVP if GS wins the series. Hasn't happened since Jerry West

If Lebron keeps playing like he is playing and Cleveland loses in 7 I think the case could be made that LJ could win the MVP on the losing team

I just don't think it would happen. Hasn't happened in forever, Bonds in 2003 was 8-17 with 4 HRs and 13 walks and they lost in 7 and Troy Glaus got it.

If Bonds couldn't do it at the peak of his head being like 60 pounds and body looking like it was ready to explode then I don't see it happening. It makes the presentation at the end harder as well, I wouldn't be surprised if the leagues tell the media not to do that.

This is pretty unique.
Curry already won the league MVP.

This would be a way for the writers to get together to give LJ a little something for his season.

If it does goes 7 by the time game 7 starts peoe will already be making legendary comparisons in between game 6 and 7.

The odds would certainly be less then 50% but there is a chance

I was just bringing it up as food for thought because it happened with Jerry West once and I'd hate to get screwed betting a GS guy and they win and someone from Cleveland wins considering how rare that would be.

Like hache said though, it ain't happenin.

i like hache's post on taking Lebron to win the MVP cause from what ive heard is that Golden st is really tough at home, but not sure about on the road .I don't watch or follow the NBA so i really don't know whats what here, but with cleveland winning last night i see them taking the series if they win game 3 at home.

hache, very good catch there, its not a big amount but its still an advantage for a couple more bucks
