On Tuesday, New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie had some strong remarks about Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and why he isn't a top cornerback in the NFL. Instead, he supported teammate Darrelle Revis and explained why he was one of the best corners in the NFL.
On Wednesday, Revis was asked to respond to Cromartie's remarks and answered with a very Bill Belichick-like answer saying, "Nothing," Revis said. "That's Cro's opinion."
When questioned further about Cromartie's remarks Revis said, "That's Cro's opinion." Revis was then asked if he thinks he's better than Richard Sherman to which he repeated, "That's Cro's opinion."
Revis, being the veteran he is, wasn't going to fall into the media's trap and took the high road. Hopefully, the rest of the Jets can adopt the same mentality as everyone from the head coach to the players have made headlines for one reason or another so far this offseason.
