I'd say the same thing we've learned in sports time & time again, especially when it comes to betting.

That we put too much emphasis on a key player or players being out for any particular team, and view that team as being toast by underestimating his backup & rest of the team...

I learned that if Lebron James played for Philadelphia. The 76ers would be playing Golden St in the finals right now.

i am as big as a lebron fan as there is. but not true.

His team has more talent than public knows. I believe because the players are all role players, but they all do their role so extremely well.
I hated Blatt but maybe him letting Lebron take over the offense and focus on defense is the difference, but also that could correlate to Iman coming over.

I actually agree with that 100%.......No doubt about it......I hate LeBron James.....With that said,he is the perfect definition of a guy who makes his teammates better then what they are.

No Love or Irving....That`s 2 All Stars who average around 40 points per game combined out of the line up.......So yes,he is playing with a bunch of role players who have stepped up their game in a big way.

The Cavs just went into Golden State and took away home court advantage from the #1 seeded team in the NBA.....A team that was 39-2 at home in the regular season.

I said a month back the sixers would be a top 3 seed in east with Lebron and was mocked.

Sooner or later people need to catch on with what I say.... As akp puts it ...listen to me, I'm right a lot.

Think this is mostly right.

The Cavs have good roleplayers. When your #2 and #3 guy go down that means the roleplayers responsibilities expand so some of them then get exposed in that sense but there is still a big difference between solid roleplayers who can play D and make open shots than a bunch of 20 years old running around like chickens with their head cutoff (the 6ers)

Maybe next years team with Embiid and the #3 pick but this years team? Not that easy.

Warriors lose home court and are still decent size chalks to win it all.

We learn the same lesson over and over again in sports but we always fall into the same trap.

And that lesson is that it's not over until it's over.

I think in terms of execution and Xs and Os that GS will be fine. They can adjust and shoot the ball better. They still had a very good defensive effort and Cleveland clearly has problems scoring in the halfcourt on them when the game bogs down.

You just really don't know about the intangibles though. This is a new team on this stage and they haven't really had any adversity all year, on the road on that stage guys could easily get tight and not play up to their potential. It should be a madhouse in Cleveland.

I still say they will be OK and pull it out. Don't think LeBron can carry that much of a load without sacrificing efficiency for 3 more games, his passing right now is on a next level like he has a cheat code but his jumper has struggled throughout the playoffs.
