I think it's time the standard scoring leagues made some changes...

1st, Change the defensive point system. We've changed ours to an aggressive point system. With the NFL avg being about 21 points per game, we reward for less yet we give negative points for 30+

2nd, is it time to eliminate the kicker from fantasy?

What other changes do you think should be made to fantsy football?

At first thought i disagree with eliminating the kicker.

But i see your point as it is merely 80% luck as to what kicker you own & start each week...

I hate that if the QB throws a pick 6 then the counts as POINTS AGAINST for that defense.
They lose points and they are not even on the field?? Dumb if you ask me.

completely agree. defensive touchdowns shouldn't count against the defense ONLY points scored on the defense
what about special team tds?

QBs should get 0 points for passing TDs

QB should get 0 points for YAC

If the defense gets a safety you should get more points then for a sack.
I say 6 points at least for a safety.

i'm so torn on this...

because logically I completely agree.. but the entire reason I want to eliminate kickers is to eliminate as much of the "luck" element as possible... So if you give defense 6 aren't you just increasing the luck as you can't predict who will have a saftey and that's just such a huge boost. Although, in theory I agree it should be worth the same as a QB TD

I don't think special teams should count either. Although they do lump special teams in with defenses so thats a little tougher.

so defense should exclude special teams -- im completely for that ..
if that's the case does the player that return the TD get the points

Maybe just add a special teams category....Lump it with the kicker.
So say you draft/pick up Patriots special teams, you now have Gostkowski as your kicker, Edelman (only the punt returner), Amendola (only the kick returner).
