I think this forum should set up a payment processing system with the sponsors of this site.

Harry Carry and Willie99 really came up with a good idea .

But I think it's time to make that sort of thing an official part of the site, not just threads started by individual posters.

Time to open up an entire moderated section of the forum.

Allow it with sponsor books.

Its a win win for everyone.

The books would love it because it's cheaper for them then paying 3rd party processors.

The players love because it's instant money.

You can setup a feedback program like eBay does .

Every Time 2 people have a successful transaction your feedback rating goes up.

The person who has the lowest feedback between 2 posters sends first.

1 strike and your out.

I think if this catches on it might convince future sports books that are not even sponsors today to become a sponsor just for the sake of having an easy way to transact money.

There is nothing illegal about this.

It does not violate the wire act.

I think this would be great if this was done in an official capacity.

How is it not illegal?

is it a gift?

no fees, no vig , just exchanging cash

or does the fact that it's for gambling purposes supersede everything?

I would guess the latter.

Why would any site involve themselves in this? NOt a good idea with online gambling
being illegal for most US residents.

We already have money transfers (with palpay) for different contests which is also not something palpay wants to know we are doing because then they are breaking US laws also. Based on this, it wouldn't be best to do even more things under some type of transfer system to further encourage a gov crackdown of some sort. We would all be on that very list and it would be on a silver platter packaged for them to serve up dozens of charges.

I think anonymity is important and it would be extremely difficult to do this without some form of that involved like your idea of rated users, but they must be blindly engaging with others to feel any sense of protection. You could make the case we have this financial anonymous ability already and just all need to convert over to bitcoin and we could do it in the current...

How many/what percentage think it's safe?

Don't have a percentage, but I read on here that many say it is.......I've also seen that Amazon.com, & other big companies online are accepting bitcoin, do I figure its safe?

I don't know, I won't use it.......

1. Not an original idea. 2. You would not get very far before A) we want our piece crew shows up B) goverments with nothing better to do than look like internet tough guys would swoop in. C) Most likely both would happen at same time. D) It would work a lot like e wallets which to A and B is money laundering. E) A and B have been working together since the early days of net teller. Stop being so naive.

Sounds good in theory but don't think anyone could pull it off without government intervention or greed on the part of the processors....

Major Wager tried this with Securebucks(?). Did NOT end well. And that was before the UIGEA.
Only way to do it, and I wish more books would do it, is with threads like Harry's, and Player to Player transfers within the Book. DON'T mention the method used in the Thread title, like is currently going on stupidly now with Wrong Way's.

Well 2+2 has been doing this for years and they never got in trouble.

I bet they have transacted millions of dollars between posters in the last 7 or 8 years

Btw. That's another thing you can do Willie.

Go to 2+2 and find some posters that want 5D money.

Since 5D had poker I'm sure you will get interest
