I know some of you respond to those emails, but just beware--especially if they worked at Ivan's Meat Store:
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A criminal complaint says a woman charged with stabbing her husband to death told investigators she had worked as a butcher in Russia and killed him “professionally,” just like she would at work.
Fifty-four-year-old Irina Kolenkina (eye-REE’-na koh-len-KEE’-na) was charged Friday with first-degree intentional homicide for the June 13 death of 52-year-old Vladimir Shevchuk at their farmhouse near DeForest.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1focBZR ) Kolenkina appeared in court Friday. Bail was continued at $500,000. Her next hearing is July 2.
The complaint says an autopsy found that Shevchuk was stabbed in the head and chest area. It found four stab wounds, four incisions and another injury that appeared consistent with three more stab wounds. It says she told investigators she killed him because she was fed up with him.
