My week in Vegas

First the gambling

1) Craps tables sucked, left a few K there. Never once found a table that sustained anything, but I played two decent rolls where I won 2k and 1k, otherwise it would have been even worse

2) now 0-7 in Vegas, they love me out there

3) thank god for baseball, especially VA in the CWS

4) have two future bets, Pats > 10.5 and UConn to win 2016 NC (we're due

)

Sinatra's at the Wynn
Gordon Ramsey's Steakhouse @ Paris
BLT Steakhouse at Bally's (find a 20% coupon)
Eiffel Tower Restaurant @ Paris
Mon Ami Gabi @ Paris

all were excellent

Entertainment

Absinthe @ Caesars, great show
Donny & Marie, the antithesis of Absinthe, entertaining and Marie has a great great great voice, something I never really knew
High Roller Ride at the Linq

I didn't like Le Reve at Wynn. The show has a lot and most people love it, but like "O" I didn't like it. I'm guessing I just don't like water shows.

my blood work is and has always been fine, my cholesterol is now 130.

I have no dietary restrictions, I've just been told to have everything in moderation and lose 1 pound a month

I'm doing that, I'm actually living life with a few filters now

and I'm also attending cardio rehab

BTW: it's been just over 12 weeks already, and I'm doing great

Prices

FUCKING INSANE

dinner and show tickets for two run 400 to 500 per night, it's not like the old vegas any more

Like you said prices are fucking insane out there. I hit some pool party and blew 3-4 hundred easy. I felt special when the happy hour kicked in and buckets of beer were only $36 instead of $50. Luckily I was on a complete heater when I was there so I didn't care much at all how much i spent.

Who knows how much I dropped at Sapphire, actually I'm glad I can't remember.

I just won't pay those prices. Think I remember Circus Circus having a dog and a beer for $1 at one time. I sat on the curb for an hour.
