Split yesterday but took a loss due to KC's inability to get anything going. Today is a new day as we look to bounce back and continue a nice week.
Today......
Going to roll the dice on this play but I believe you get some good value on the Phillies tonight. Despite the Braves hot streak recently they do not hit LHP well and especially not at home(.215 team average) . I had a chance to watch Adam Morgan pitch in his first outing and he wasn't half bad. Rookie pitchers often have a chance to succeed early on before teams are able to get a book on them and what they are capable of. I like the Phillies here with a punchers chance to cash a nice underdog win.

I really like the way Lorenzen has been pitching recently for the Reds and think that he will be able to continue that tonight. Brewers are not a good team and are prone to making a lot of mistakes. They haven't given Fiers good run support all season and have not been successful on the road for most of the season. I like the way the Reds play and home and will back them tonight.
