Obviously the USO is different as they will play a 5th set TB, but all the other slams will play until exhaustion.
So excluding the USO, these are the possibilities:
6-0 = EVEN
6-1 = ODD
6-2 = EVEN
6-3 = ODD
6-4 = EVEN
REST = EVEN
So there are only 6 possible outcomes. Anything past a 10th game will always produce an EVEN result so I'm counting that as the 6th and final result.
In only 2 instances will an odd total result. The odds advance for that outcome if the winner of the set is the first server. However, if the winner of the set is the receiver, then the odds are horrific.
Any math gurus calculate this for me?
1. ODD if serving
2. ODD if receiving
