Is this back when John Madden thought he knew football? "You see, the goal here is to pick up 10 yards to get a 1st down and if they do that, they can keep the football but if they don't they may have to punt, but either way he is on my all dressing and turkey team, you see you can't have just 1 dressing, you need at least 3 and 5 turkeys for me"

I remember seeing him play against the Chiefs in the fall of 1979 (Crazy George started "The Wave" in that stadium around that time). He threw the most perfect spiral I've ever seen.

Another reason to hate Greenberg and Golic. Now all of a sudden, Stabler was Greenburg's favorite player growing up. I don't think he has ever mentioned his name on that show. So a New York kid loves a Raider during the same era as Joe Namath.

Has that guy ever seen an athlete he doesn't "have the upmost respect for"

Talk about the exact opposite of Peyton Manning. The Snake would bring his team back to win in the playoffs and not choke as a #1 seed at home.

It is funny that a guy like this gets over looked yet people think Manning & Brees are some all time great QB's.

Rest in Peace

If you don't like the show...don't watch or listen.
