One week from yesterday when I read this, I knew football was coming

ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett considers fourth-year WR Nick Toon the "strong frontrunner" to serve as New Orleans' No. 3 receiver this year.

Preseason is fun, but it doesn't give me the feeling of football season yet.......when college football kicks off 1 week before the NFL season, that's when it starts for me.

I'll believe it when I see it.

He's been Mr July for 3 years now .

The Colts 2015 season started as soon as Brady deflated the balls followed by a 20 point loss.

The Colts will trounce their division, run over the AFC East, and ask questions as to why they have to play the NFC South.

Black qb's are lined up left and right. Almost unfair.

Nfl is fine but I just don't get the love affair this country has with it. I'll take 4 or 5 other sports ahead of it. My company has season tickets to colts and pacers and to me nba is a much better product live.

To answer the original question to me it starts week 1 of the regular season

NBA is good live as long as you have courtside seats. Some of those guys are just ridiculously athletically. Not my favorite sport but athletically is off the charts.

My issue with the nfl live is that unless you are right on that 50 yard line sweet spot you can't even tell what's going on. you spend 3/4 of the game staring at the big screen

NFL is terrible live unless you're really into the team. Other than that too many stoppages, sport was made for TV.

I won't go to a live NFL game or college, & I've had a lot of opportunities.

Give me a big screen TV & NFL ticket where I can watch 8 games at once, awesome!
