my interest is mostly in phil steele, especially given i'm from canada where it costs $50 (and tons and tons of wait time) to get the magazine.

anyway, within the top 25 candidate teams.... phil looks BULLISH on USC (very bullish), Georgia, Stanford (head shaker for me. ), LSU, Vt, PSU, Miami..... BEARISH on oregon, auburn, ASU, Arizona, TN, boise, GT...

will go thru all the conferences and find lesser team BULL/BEAR names....

FYI, he has stanford #7. the 6 other services most bullish prediction is #19. two are outside top 25.

If you paid $50.00 for Steele's Rag, I have some nice beach front property in Kansas to sell you. Steele's rag is hardly worth what he sells it for at your average American Newsstand, much less $50.00. If Steele is very bullish on USC and Stanford, Oregon fans should be celebrating. This is so typical Steele. He tries to predict out of the box, and then ignores all of his losing picks, which grow from yer to year. There is no way Stanford defeats Oregon with that pathetic offense.

unfortunately the semi-sad truth is ncaaf is alot of teams seem to stay in their natural habitat and don't change too much season-to-season. so very little forecast movement in the lower team standings. and of course, if you are trying to win a predicting contest i would think you want most of your predictions to be straight-forward (don't wow them with a crazy idea. do that in some other forum).

You can buy 10 Phil Steele magazines and lose your ass until you understand this hardass gaming business. Young/new guys...get in your heads this ain't "Alice in Wonderland" because winning is hard and when you fucken lose you have to PAY!
