Coaches

Offense - same great offensive coaches. Arians likes to pass deep, and pass in the red zone.
Defense - Bowles is gone obviously. Replacement has coached with Arians for a long time. No one has done more with less talent than Bowles over the past 2 years. Bettcher will undoubtedly keep aggressive strategy but losing Bowles has to hurt.

Offense

QB's Stanton is bottom 3rd backup, and Palmer is 35 coming off ACL. As of now, he is ahead in recovery, and supposed to be 100% for start of camp.

RB's Arians / Goodwin like to pass in red zone. Ellington's injury was hernia, so no lingering effects. I don't usually think draft picks are well used on running backs, but getting David Johnson in 3rd round was a good pick. Almost as good as Gurley / Gordon and 2 rds later. Johnson is big back who will get goal line carries.

WR's Floyd v good, improving. Fitzgerald isn't good any more. Complete lack of ability to separate in man coverage. Still reasonable vs zones with knowledge and ball skills. Brown will be starting WR by week 1.

TE's Niklas will be used at WR when healthy. Important player for Cards this year, but has had 3 separate injuries since being drafted ly. Obv can't be counted on in any capacity.

OL Should be improved from ly and above average. Oft injured Cooper will be a great player if he can be healthy. Iupati an upgrade over Fanaika. AQ Shipley small but a good football player. Great signing. Won't be surprised to see him win starting C job over Ted Larsen. Getting the better of an improving Massie or DJ Humpries (rd 1 pick 2015) won't make for a bad RT.

This will be a very good offense as long as Palmer can stay on the field. Floyd, Brown draftable. Palmer giid as a late high variance gamble. David Johnson is a must draft.

Defense

Front Seven Signed the ancient Cory Redding and 2 LB's who can't stay on the field. Interesting. The Cards boast 2 of the worst 5-2 ends in football, Okafor and Shaughnessy. Rd. 2 pick Golden should easily win starting job. Lose good NT Dan Williams.

2ndary

Lose Cromartie from over rated group.

Draft Markus Golden. No one else.

I think their defense has taken a step back to just slightly above average instead of top 5, and I don't trust Palmer to stay healthy in that division really. Team has talent but I don't trust anyone beyond the Seahawks in the NFC West this year.

Good defensive team.........Offense scored under 20 ppg last season....Not good.

Palmer at 35 years old coming back from that ACL injury.....We`ll have to see.
