He is going to break Orel's record? Wow.

Orel is the man. Surprised it isn't a bigger story but I guess since Orel's record went into the world series and its mid-July is why. Also, nobody cares about baseball anymore.

And the guy he beats is 10-8 on the season. Scherzer has shown great stuff at times but is getting paid alot of dough to be close to 500 at this point in the year. Kershaw was amazing yesterday and L A has the best 1,2 in baseball. If they could only wake up at the plate lookout !

Scherzer is 10-8 with a 2.09 ERA......What`s wrong with that?......Kershaw gets paid a lot of money also...Not to be 7-6 and get shelled in the playoffs last season that`s for sure......I`ll tell you what....I`ll put Garrett Cole and Francisco Liriano up against Greinke and Kershaw.......And I`ll also put Scherzer and Fister up against Greinke and Kershaw come playoff time.

If 10/8 record is good for 25 mil or whatever he is making this year is good then i apologize.

You must be in dream land......10-8 with a 2.09 ERA and 158 Strikeouts.....Oh and a NO HITTER....Let`s not forget the NO HITTER he threw against the Pirates last month......Just look at the ERA 2.09.

Dreamland huh ? You win you can have max. I will take 9 and 2 and greinke any day. Like i said he has had some nice streaks but 10 and 8 on a division leader sucks
