Im right around 45-49 which I would venture to say is about average. A lot of Saturdays though which I don't love.

Do we have any members pulling 80-90 hour work weeks? Or maybe the other extreme of only 15-20 hours?

I'm salary. Not hourly. So I never keep track.

During HS football season, I put in 60 hour weeks. Otherwise usually 40-45. Unless its summer vacation, I rarely go into work at all.

I assume the majority of the posters here are salary? Not too many hamburger flippers among us. At least i hope not.

Always thought teaching as a job was underrated. People seem to forget that there is an entire summer off

So hourly jobs are shit and grouped with entry level Whopper Floppers, aye?! No one in my plant makes less than $26.76 an hour, with some making over $35, then it's salary from there. They make time and a half and $50 an hour on Sundays. Right now, you want hours, you got em. I'd be willing to bet you make nowhere near that...

To add, everyone just got a $4k bonus, and the same is guaranteed for 2016 and 17 as well. Bring it on...

A little touchy today?

Everyone knows there can be some very high paying hourly manual labor jobs (with very good benefits also), I was just saying that overall I think we have a lot of successful guys on here and very few minimum wage workers

Lets be honest here.

I bet you spend at least 10 hours a week posting on message boards when you should be working.

Also just to follow up on that once more because I think you greatly misunderstood what I was saying. Trust me when I say i'm not the type who relies on a "flashy job title" to feel good about myself. I've had the flashy sounding corporate jobs that don't pay shit and the drab average sounding jobs that pay great and I'll take the average sounding job that pays great every time.

I have plenty of friends who are "executive vice president marketing manager team lead" type bs for fortune 500's. Most barely scratch out 50k a year and spend more time in the politics game than anything else. My philosophy is give me the money and you can keep the corporate hype. Took me a long time to realize that conclusion.

I'd be very curious to know if we have any true workaholics here at the RX going over 80 hours a week at their job
