Yeah that was the old school way, just let traffic slowly go around you. Now when it's like that they go to the passenger door to write the ticket.

On a traffic stop you are using your vehicle for protection. You can see that his car is about 5 feet left of the vehicle he stopped. Of course when the drunks at night are driving it doesn't make much difference.
