UPDATE: New York Mets GM Sandy Alderson says "there is no trade. A trade has not and will not transpire." The Mets will NOT acquire Carlos Gomez from the Milwaukee Brewers.

I`m happy this trade didn`t go down....I want someone with some power.....#3 or #4 guy........Give me Cespedes or Puig the hell with Gomez and his 262 average and his 8 homers.

Hopefully that is what`s happening with this trade being taken off the table.

Only the Mets can report a trade then 1 hour later its off the table...LOL

Hopefully Alderson is working on something better that took this trade off the board.

I hear Cargo,Cespedes and Puig are available....Give 1 of those guys......I would love to have Puig though.....24 years old....Put him right in the 4 spot.

Supposedly the deal was pulled due to concerns over Gomez's hip. What a bizarre situation that was last night with Flores crying while playing, thinking he was traded. The fans giving him a standing O. Terry Collins seemingly unaware of wtf was taking place. Surreal.
