Will be out of town this weekend, but I love me some road tracks. Here are a few Xfinity notes to chew on....
Brian Scott- Scott here at The Glen has been consistently average....highest finish 10, lowest finish 14. Could be one to think about with the right match-up playing against him.
Menard, Kez and Logano have all had their moments here in XFINITY with Top 5 finishes....Kez is the only one with a W and he is the only Driver with a consistent 6 races, 6 Top 10 finishes. As for Larson, in 2 X Races his best finish was 15th. That being said one race was scrapped due to an engine, so the numbers show only one true performance and thus far it looks like he will have a fast car.
Brendan Gaughan is having a great season. The Glen hasn't been good to him. In 4 races his best finish is 14th, and he has had one Top 10 start. Keep an eye on his match-ups.
Always beware of the road track riggers....guys like Boris Said and Kenny Habul, although Father Time my be catching up to both of them.
Watch for Regan Smith's qualifying time.....other than the last race, his performance has typically been consistent with how fast his car is.
Chris Beuscher's only race here was miserable and he finished 3 laps off the pace.
This will be Darrell Wallace Jr's 1st X road race. He had two in the Truck Series; his best start was 7th and his best finish was 4th.
