wow, its true

[h=4]To All of Brian Mac’s Club Members…. very sad news[/h]Hi guys, It’s Michelle here.
Brian Mac passed away. When he didn’t post the plays on Saturday, I went to his house, and he was dead. What I can tell you is that Brian watched the Blue Jays win on Thursday night, went to bed, and died peacefully in his sleep.
As soon as I can use the phone system & get in touch with his handicappers I will be leaving his club members messages.
Since 1994 I have known Brian to be a man of integrity, and believe me when I say his customers were the most important part of his life. You all meant everything to him.
I’m sorry I haven’t been in the office. I am beyond devastated. I will speak with everyone when I am able to do so.

RIP

Never heard of him before this. Did a google search, and he's a tout. His website has the same message about him passing.

Wow. Before the internet made these things widely available, I used to call his comp line to get the tout consensus to know their biggest LOCKS to go against. He had alot of good, common sense info, and was entertaining, but of course, bottom line he was a lying tout himself, with a great scam, getting the "wise Guy" plays. There were a few local guys in NY Comp lines, , He, Rob Crowne, Polish Prognosticator, that were fun. They'd feud, curse each other out, make up. RIP.

Mac was one of the greatest marketers I have ever seen. He was ahead of his time for sure. He knew how to suck people in, was very entertaining at times, and his "crew, seemed to be a never ending list of cartoon characters , who always were on fire lol
I lost money playin with MAC years ago, but I always enjoyed listening a to him and getting his Friday night. Hot sides
He must have made a fortune over the years, unless of course he was betting his own games .

I can confirm. I knew him the past 10 years in a working relationship and over that time we became friends. I have not been able to reach Michelle since hearing the news and I really didn't know if it was true or not. I kept searching the internet for news using his real name and finally two days ago the obituary notice was published in New Jersey. "Brian Mac" was 59 years young. So sad. I am glad he went peacefully in his sleep. He was a good man. He will be missed.

I also have dealt with Brian and his business. I have done my own handicapping on my own site. I am not a tout. I just put picks out on my site and bet them against other guys without the juice. At the time I dealt with Brian I did a year of picks to see if I was good enough to be one of his hogs. His main guy didn't like me as I was running good. Brian conferences called us 3 and made the guy apologize to me for being a prick.
I'm certainly not saying good or bad against the man. He also gave me his paid for picks for that same year. He pulled a
profit. Unless you were betting big money not enough to really matter but a legit profit against the spread.
He treated me with respect and seemed like a good dude. Have read a lot of nasty things about him in his early years as well but I personally never seen them.
Any way he played the game we all love. Sports gambling. RIP

He was definitely a salesman & one of the pioneers when it comes to services/touting.

Used to get his full daily lineup & consensus for no charge after meeting him through Jigsaw Sports.

Remember speaking to Michelle a few times.

All the best to his friends & family...

Can you post his real name and the site where you found the obit? I used him from time to time, and say what you want, he was an entertainer!

RIP Brian. He gave away plenty of info for free to the freeloaders. If you crossed him, you would lose. When he got Z's plays while he was still alive. those original "open Enders" were automatic. Hundred dollar betters were betting Gnotes and cashing almost every bet. things never really got back to that level. For a while though.....we all were living the life of Reilly

When I was in college I used to call his consensus line daily. It was addictive. I finally caved and subscribed to his plays. Like almost every experience with touts you hear about we started off winning and quit loser in the end. I will never forget how he did his plays. small medium large extra large and monster haha. He had Stevie Z, chucky sharp, Computer kids, Underdog, I can't remember the others. His website had some hot chicks on it too.
