Doesn't surprise me........anyone playing there should hope to lose, because winning a lot is forbidden.
My observation is with several good books closing over the years, they've gotten really big and no longer care if they lose a few customer's here and there over just about anything. Even those who've been with them since their beginning (no loyalty). They've lost their incentive to be decent and fair.

The comfort zone... there is definately a market for a new shop with reduced juice and quick payouts... question is... who is willing to invest that big and mantain integrity along the way. I agree sharps for the most part need to be limited, not kicked out... $500 max per game or who knows (depending on book's bankroll I would just replay harp action on pinny).
I say there is room for competition but lack of entrepeneurs looking to take a risk.
