Most of us know the aura & magic Bird brought to a team.

But many who would side with Lebron on this debate would argue Lebron puts up better numbers when they don't even know that isn't accurate!

5:24 mark, Bayless would choose Bird over LeBron to start a franchise, "and I don't even think it's close"

Most guys side with the guy playing presently as the guy is fresh on their mind. Bird was a great basketball player.

What numbers do you mean? Things like points, rebounds, and assists? For their entire career, per game, or per possession? LeBron is going to be well above Bird in two out of three of those? Or do you mean things like wins and losses? Bird might be ahead in that area, but what about when you account for the other four players the Celtics had on the court compared to who the Cavs and Heat had?

This is dead on.

It's what & who is fresh on people's minds.

Works the exact same way with trading cards.

People always want the new hot rookies & young stars & forget about the ones years before...

I'm actually kinda surprised nobody has hired Skip or StephenA to run a team.

Pretty obvious move. Whenever I hear those guys analyze the game I'm in awe of them.

Let's compare players from the same era for once

Bird > Magic

That's an easy one once you break it down too...

Those guys are hard to watch for 15 minutes. I skipped ahead to the graphic they had and it was based entirely on their age 30 season. Completely meaningless if we are trying to compare their entire careers

Care to let us know if they gave any other stats in the video that could perhaps offer meaningful insight

i really think these 1 and done kids are really hurting the nba as imo they play too much street type ball and need to stay in college and learn the game, as in james case he was out of high school, great or not he plays too much street ball for me and when it come down to the last shot, does not even want the ball
