Rumor has it the court will announce that the NFL has agreed to fine Tom Brady 50k. For failure to cooperate. No games. No admission of guilt in deflated balls.
Brady didn't want to even agree to fine.

A $50,000 fine is a crime too. They have NO PROOF he did anything. It's a freaking witch hunt.

If that's true, a $50k fine, Goodell has to be gone before the start of the season. What a waste of time and money.

Huh? There's no proof. Did anyone admit to it? Did anyone see them do it? There is absolutely no proof. It's a witch hunt and it has since the start. You can assume he cheated, but there will never be proof (in this instance).

most legal minds, most scientific evidence, most of the critical thinking, most NFL players side with Brady

most haters side with Goodall despite knowing he's a documented liar and despite the fact that they should realize this whole thing is a clusterfuck from start to finish

PP my friend, do you have a link? I can't find that story anywhere

the only thing I'm seeing is that talks have stalled (which I don't think bodes well for Roger, the judge is going to be pissed about the lack of a settlement, and I think his words imply Roger has to move)

where can Brady go? can the judge expect Brady to admit guilt if he's not guilty? supposedly that's the stumbling block

at the end of the day, Roger is hoping the judge rules that he acted within his power. While I have no doubt that if the facts of the case come into play that Brady will be exonerated by any third party referee, I'm not as confident about the court ruling Roger exceeded his authority. IMO, there's a slight chance the NFL wins that one. There's no chance they win if the court accepts the case.

Roger manipulated everything to put him in this position, which in and by itself jeopardizes the integrity of the game.

Wells cannot be called an independent investigator, his firm as been hired to represent the NFL

Roger lets his assistant make the initial ruling (really? is anyone stupid enough to believe that?)

Since his assistant made the initial ruling, Roger ruled that he can hear the appeal (seriously?)

if that bullshit doesn't set off alarms, than nothing will. You probably think stuff like Obama cut the deficit in half in his first term and you can keep your health plan if you like it.

the issue Brady's team has to hurdle is whether or not Roger acted in accordance with the terms of the players' agreement. If the judge says he didn't, Brady won't miss one game

Mike Gasior‏@MikeGasior

Just heard, @NFL and #TomBrady agree to no games, no admission of guilt and $50K for not cooperating. Announcement in court tomorrow.

It was retweeted by Dennis and Callahan (WEEI radio talk show host) and by others in the sports news world.
The only reason I posted it.
Strictly rumor at this point. Have heard nothing else further at the time of this post this AM.

No ruling can change that Brady press conference. Anyone with common sense knows that he lied and asked for balls to be deflated. The punishment can be debated but his guilt and lies have never been in doubt.

Court system can do what it does every day.....let guilty people go on technicalities and not enough proof but those looking with clear eyes will always know. Those looking thru patriot eyes will never know.

But hey.....cheating follows this team because everyone in a "hater". Lol....has there ever been a dumber defense?

Saw the tweet last nite, but later saw a report from a local new reporter that the "secret" meeting between Brady and Roger was a bust. They won't be appearing in court today -only their lawyers - because the sides are no closer to a settlement.

Keep going back to the press conference, you guys are something else.

so brady looked bad in a press conference when he was asked about things that were factual lies set out by his own league. Brady has to answer why 11 of 12 balls were significantly underinflated (ESPN/mortensen report). As anyone who has followed this, we know that was not true and the nfl knew it at that time but falsely leaked otherwise. League also knowingly sent a letter to the patriots stating similar incorrect facts. But lets pile on brady because he 'looked' bad. I'd love to see how you guys would 'look' if you are being bombarded by questions at your job about things that simply are not true.

Q. Hey Tom why 11 of 12 balls way underinflated!?!?
A. Um I really don't know guys.
Truth: 11 of 12 balls werent, and mortensen report false and since deleted.
