nice college career, nice touch, confident, smart and played very loose tonight

he's going to be fine

I'm hoping he gets 1 or 2 starts max, but since Brady will never kiss the lying asshole emperor's ring, I have some concerns a settlement may not be reached (if he kissed roger's ass and accepted a trumped up accusation, the penalty is already substantially reduced)

anyhow, they can win with Jimmy and fundamental play on both sides of the ball

He's alright Willie.

Still would like Pitt to cover if Brady is out.

Him starting 2 games vs starting 0 games could be the difference between hosting a playoff game and being on the road.

Margin for error is too slim in the NFL to be near pick em 1st 2 weeks rather than 70% favorites.

I've said all along he was the best QB in last seasons draft.
He will be the pats QB 10 years from now

49ers could keep Jimmy Garoppolo in 2022, Ian Rapoport believes

Why Rapoport believes 49ers could keep Jimmy G next season originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
With each passing day that Jimmy Garoppolo remains on the 49ers' roster, it becomes increasingly likely that he could actually be in the mix for the starting quarterback position next season.
That would be quite the plot twist given that the veteran quarterback had already said his goodbyes immediately after the season.

Locals will definitely be furious. A lot of the fan base wanted Trey Lance to start last year even during their success in the playoffs.

They need to take a look at Lance. It’s also not fair to Jimmy — he clearly didn’t like being in that predicament last year with all the Lance questions

If they brought back Jimmy it would be to back up Lance, but even that could be a distraction. Better to pull the band aid off and trade him, even at sub optimal compensation

49ers want to contend..
I would think they have reservations of going into next season with Lance at QB.

Jimmy’s got great intangibles and is super respected by teammates. He’s a great leader, and a gamer

But reality is he’s very limited and injury prone. I think he coulda been OK in a place like Pittsburgh. Maybe he’s a bridge QB in a place that drafts a rookie?

Very fair, but I think they’d rather have the Jimmy/Lance tension gone altogether. They gotta move off one of them, and obviously they’re not gonna dump Lance

Lance is raw as hell and the lack of recent playing experience (sat out COVID year in college) is concerning. But he’s never gonna get acclimated to playing unless he actually plays in NFL games. From what I’ve seen, he’s a hell of a lot more talented than Jimmy G and could help the 49ers extend the field a bit with his cannon

Hearing the locals talk every day about it whenever they’re not shitting their pants about the Warriors struggles lol

Lol. This hand in hand reporting.

Hey Ian start putting it out there we might keep Jimmy. We need x team to come up a couple of selections in the draft.

On it!

0 percent chance Jimmy is on that team come week 1. Simply and utterly ridiculous. Colluding reporting at it's finest.

On it!!!!

Maybe your QB is injury prone ... after 2 years , he's missed how many games ? No excuses please...
