Floyd Mayweather continued to live up to his 'Money' nickname - by buying the flashiest car on the market.

The pound-for-pound best fighter in the world posed with his brand new buy, a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita 'Hyper Car' in a plush garage in America.

Koenigsegg have produced just two Trevita cars and Mayweather has his hands on the second. It is also the only one in the United States.

The exclusive manufacturer is branded as the 'ultra automobile manufacturer for the super rich' - perfectly fitting Mayweather's billing as the most wealthy sportsman on the planet.

Writing on Instagram, he said: "My new 4.8 Million dollar car. $4,800,000.00 Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita supercar."

What a waste.

I hope he goes broke sooner than later. And ends up on the street working for Antoine Walker and Vin Baker at Starbucks.

mayweather is one of the few athletes that have been business saavy and made himself hundreds of millions as his own commodity.

and you want to see him fail?
why?

more often than not, athletes go broke once their career ends. why would you root for another failure?

I don't think he will ever go broke unless there's a cataclysmic event on wall street......that will happen one day!

But until then, he will be banking serious money.

Now to the car......IMO, a waste of money, would never have spent more than 500k for a car........then again, its his money.

I just hope he raises his kids with morals & doesn't spoil them, but as a child of someone who just paid $5 million for a car, how could the kids not be spoiled.
