[h=3]30. Los Angeles Angels - Josh Hamilton[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Josh-Hamilton-Angels-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Josh-Hamilton-Angels.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Angels Fans. Josh Hamilton created the perfect storm in Los Angeles in a number of ways. He came over from a rival team, then was difficult with the media and had his share of off-field issues. While L.A. dealt with a tough situation poorly, he still didn't do anything to help his case, and that helped him draw the ire of the fan base.

[h=3]29. Seattle Mariners - Chone Figgins[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2012/11/uspw_6435646-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2012/11/uspw_6435646.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Mariners Fans. Chone Figgins was another AL West player who switched teams within the division and went on to frustrate his new team. Figgins was often difficult with management and his failure to meet expectations certainly didn't help his public perception. The fact that his career essentially died in Seattle made him the subject of a lot of criticism in town.

</figcaption>

[h=3]28. Texas Rangers - Ian Kinsler[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/02/Ian-Kinsler-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/02/Ian-Kinsler.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Rangers Fans. Some of the comments Kinsler made about the Rangers organization after being traded to the Tigers were downright nasty. He clearly started to resent the team as his days in Texas wound down and he let everyone know it. Obviously, after a former player bad-mouths your team -- the team he used to play for -- you're going to take exception.

</figcaption>

[h=3]27. Oakland Athletics - Jose Canseco[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/08/Canseco-Cover-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/08/Canseco-Cover.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. Canseco is just an annoying ex-juicer who won't shut up. He was determined to expose everyone else who did steroids just to make himself look better, but in the process he made himself look worse. Not many people within baseball can stand the outspoken slugger anymore, and that's why he's moved further and further from the game.

</figcaption>

[h=3]26. Houston Astros - Roger Clemens[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Roger-Clemens-Astros-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Roger-Clemens-Astros.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 84px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. Clemens pitched for a number of teams, but he was at his all-time worst when he was playing with his hometown Astros. He wasn't afraid to throw at opposing batters and he was extremely cocky. Generally, those traits aren't going to go over well with opposing fan bases. </figcaption>

[h=3]25. Kansas City Royals - Neifi Perez[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Neifi-Perez-Royals-300x169.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Neifi-Perez-Royals.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Royals Fans. Perez is almost universally hated by Kansas City fans simply because of his attitude when he was with the Royals. He didn't hustle, complained a lot and constantly defied coaches. One time, he even refused to enter a game when instructed to. Not playing your hardest and going out of your way to complain is not a way to get the hometown fans to like you.

</figcaption>

[h=3]24. Chicago White Sox - A.J. Pierzynski[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2012/11/A.J.-Pierzynski-11-2-12-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2012/11/A.J.-Pierzynski-11-2-12.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. It was once said of A.J. Pierzynski, "He's the kind of guy you hate to play against and hate a little less to play with." This guy is a consummate pro, but just gets under people's skin with his antics. He's played for several different teams, but he was at the height of his hated days when he was in Chicago.

</figcaption>

[h=3]23. Detroit Tigers - Ty Cobb[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2013/06/2-Ty-Cobb-AVG-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2013/06/2-Ty-Cobb-AVG.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. Modern fans technically can't really have a hatred for the man who is second on the all-time hits list, but everyone knows just how hated he was during his playing days. He was a mean guy that played dirty and, even though he was one of the greatest players to ever play the game, he made few friends and alienated himself from the rest of the league.

</figcaption>

[h=3]22. Minnesota Twins - Chuck Knoblauch[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Chuck-Knoblauch-Twins-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Chuck-Knoblauch-Twins.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 84px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Twins Fans. Even though Knoblauch was a very good player when he was in Minnesota, he's not remembered fondly because of the way he very publicly campaigned for his exit from Minnesota. It doesn't help that he went on to play for the hated Yankees, but Twins fans would despise him either way. </figcaption>

[h=3]21. Cleveland Indians - Albert Belle[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Albert-Belle-Indians-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Albert-Belle-Indians.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. Belle was a bit of a showboat in a way that not many players in his era were. There are plenty of showboats now, so it almost seems commonplace, but when Belle was doing it, it drew a considerable amount of criticism. It rarely seemed like he was purposely instigating, but his flamboyant style made him pretty unpopular nonetheless.

</figcaption>

[h=3]20. New York Yankees - Alex Rodriguez[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Alex-Rodriguez-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Alex-Rodriguez.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. A-Rod is the most universally hated baseball player in the game today for a variety of reasons. He's a cheater and he's lied about it multiple times. He appears to think that he's above the rules and he even sued his own player's union. At every stop, he has become hated by his own fans, and it has been no different in New York for the majority of his tenure there.

</figcaption> [h=3]19. Toronto Blue Jays - David Wells[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/David-Wells-Blue-Jays-300x169.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/David-Wells-Blue-Jays.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Blue Jays Fans. Wells was a controversial figure during his time in the major leagues, but his own fans never disliked him as much as fans in Toronto did. He was a very good pitcher north of the border, but there was just something about his intense, yet somehow lazy manner that rubbed his Canadian rooters the wrong way.

</figcaption>

[h=3]18. Boston Red Sox - Bill Buckner[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Bill-Buckner-Red-Sox-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Bill-Buckner-Red-Sox.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 126px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Red Sox Fans. This doesn't apply as much as it once did. Before the Red Sox finally broke their World Series drought in 2004, Boston fans couldn't stand to hear the name of the first baseman that contributed to their 1986 World Series collapse. He has since been mostly forgiven by Red Sox fans, but at the height of Boston's hatred for him, his name couldn't be said in the city without various four-letter adjectives being used in the conversation.

</figcaption>

[h=3]17. Baltimore Orioles - Rafael Palmeiro[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/04/Rafael-Palmeiro-Getty-Images-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/04/Rafael-Palmeiro-Getty-Images.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. Palmeiro, like most steroid users during the height of the steroid era, has fallen out of favor with most fans. Palmeiro has a special place in the hearts of steroid haters, though, because he was so defiant about not using. Instead of admitting a mistake, he back-tracked and made most baseball fans hate him in the process.

</figcaption>

[h=3]16. Tampa Bay Rays - Carl Crawford[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Carl-Crawford-Rays-300x169.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Carl-Crawford-Rays.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 84px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Rays Fans. Crawford was the first superstar in team history, but the way he left made fans in Tampa Bay feel differently about him. Since he left for the division rival Red Sox and took the big-money deal, fans started to turn on him. It got to the point where he was one of the least liked players in town.

</figcaption>

[h=3]15. Los Angeles Dodgers - Yasiel Puig[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Los-Angeles-Dodgers-Rumors-Yasiel-Puigs-Act-Wearing-Thin-On-Teammates-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Los-Angeles-Dodgers-Rumors-Yasiel-Puigs-Act-Wearing-Thin-On-Teammates.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. He's only been in the majors for a few seasons, but Puig has already gotten on the nerves of fans around the league. Despite his great talent, his antics have forced the Dodgers into discussing trades for him, so he might not even be a Dodger for long. The Cuban outfielder plays with flare, which is fine, but sometimes it crosses the line.

</figcaption>

[h=3]14. Colorado Rockies - Mike Hampton[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Mike-Hampton-Rockies-300x169.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Mike-Hampton-Rockies.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 126px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Rockies Fans. Hampton wasn't particularly well liked anywhere he went, but fans in Colorado hate him because of his underachievement and attitude. He got a big contract and just folded like a tent. This happens quite a bit nowadays, but he stood out because of his outspoken nature. If a team's fans feel like the team is wasting money on you and you don't seem like you're doing anything to improve, you're not going to be very popular.

</figcaption>

[h=3]13. San Francisco Giants - Barry Bonds[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/06/BarryBonds-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/06/BarryBonds.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. Barry Bonds was one of the best players in baseball history, even without steroids, but he always seemed like a villain. The fact that baseball's most important record has an asterisk next to it is a shame and is a big reason why the majority of baseball fans can't stand the home run king. Perhaps more than anything else, Bonds just never came off as a likable guy.

</figcaption>

[h=3]12. San Diego Padres - Jack Clark[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Jack-Clark-Padres-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Jack-Clark-Padres.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. Clark was one of baseball's great instigators and, as with all instigators, he was hated by the instigated. He had no limits on who he could instigate and that turned him into a villain character. The worst part about the whole thing was that he embraced being the instigator and the villain.

</figcaption>

[h=3]11. Arizona Diamondbacks - Matt Williams[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2013/10/Is-Matt-Williams-Right-Man-to-be-Washington-Nationals’-Manager-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2013/10/Is-Matt-Williams-Right-Man-to-be-Washington-Nationals’-Manager.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. Like Clark, Williams was an instigator. He was more of a spark plug, though, so he was relatively well liked by hometown fans, especially when the team was in the midst of their 2001 World Series run. His intensity did intimidate a lot of people, though, and that turned into hatred in a lot of fans.

</figcaption>

[h=3]10. St. Louis Cardinals - Yadier Molina[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Yadier-Molina1-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Yadier-Molina1.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 126px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. Yadier Molina is a fan favorite in St. Louis, but fans elsewhere can't stand him. He plays with a lot of intensity and is a leader on a dominant team. Generally, opposing fans resent success unless it's coming from their own team, and that's why Yadi is so despised. He might be one of the best fielding catchers of all time, but modern fans outside of St. Louis can't stand him.

</figcaption>

[h=3]9. Chicago Cubs - Carlos Zambrano[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2013/05/Carlos-Zambrano-Chicago-Cubs-Dennis-Wierzbicki-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2013/05/Carlos-Zambrano-Chicago-Cubs-Dennis-Wierzbicki.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. For a time, Zambrano was loved by fans in Chicago while he was hated by everyone else, but his act wore old, even on his home fans. His intensity boiled over constantly, which was fine, but when he started directing his anger toward teammates, that was the last straw. He could never control his temper, and that turned him into the object of a lot of hatred.

</figcaption>

[h=3]8. Milwaukee Brewers - Nyjer Morgan[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/02/NyjerMorgan_BeastMode_Getty-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/02/NyjerMorgan_BeastMode_Getty.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. Nyjer Morgan is a sparkplug and instigator and is absolutely hated by opposing fans. He actually goes beyond playful instigation and has caused more than a couple fights during his playing days. He will normally be well-received by his home fans for a while until his agitation starts annoying them as well

</figcaption>

[h=3]7. Pittsburgh Pirates - Doc Ellis[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/03/456487442-copy-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/03/456487442-copy.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. From a performance perspective, Doc Ellis is one of the more underrated pitchers in major league history, but that didn't keep opposing fans from disliking him. He supposedly once threw a no-hitter while on acid, and that just furthered the myth surrounding him and, for some, the hatred attached to him.

</figcaption>

[h=3]6. Cincinnati Reds - Pete Rose[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/09/Pete-Rose-Reds1-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/09/Pete-Rose-Reds1.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 126px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. Pete Rose was one of the greatest players in baseball history, but there were a number of things that made non-Reds fans hate him during his playing days and afterward. He hustled no matter what, even to a fault, and sometimes that rubbed opposing teams and fans the wrong way. He also bet on baseball, one of the greatest sins in the game, and some deem that unforgivable.

</figcaption>

[h=3]5. Washington Nationals - Bryce Harper[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/06/2.-Bryce-Harper-Is-A-Phenom-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/06/2.-Bryce-Harper-Is-A-Phenom.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. Bryce Harper is one of those fun superstars that every opposing fan loves to hate. He is one of the most talented hitters in the game today and he's just 22 years old, but he is extremely cocky. When his cockiness goes too far, it causes more and more fans to hate him. Until he completely grows up, opposing fans aren't going to start liking him.

</figcaption>

[h=3]4. New York Mets - Jesse Orasco[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Jesse-Orasco-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Jesse-Orasco.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Mets Fans. In a long line of underachieving Mets players, Orasco might just take the cake. He wasted a lot of time in New York in the minds of Mets fans, and that must have been infuriating. He wasn't that mean of a guy or anything, but he never seemed to realize his potential, and that was bad enough in the minds of Mets fans.

</figcaption>

[h=3]3. Miami Marlins - Dontrelle Willis[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Dontrelle-Willis-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/07/Dontrelle-Willis.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 105px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. His prime didn't last long, but Willis was a dominant pitcher in his heyday. His flare for the dramatic often frustrated opposing players and fans, though. Willis' jerky jerky motion sure was fun to watch, but when he got frustrated, he could be scary on the mound. That drew a lot of criticism from opposing fans around the league.

</figcaption>

[h=3]2. Philadelphia Phillies - Mike Schmidt[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/05/32.-Mike-Schmidt-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/05/32.-Mike-Schmidt.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 147px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Opposing Fans. Schmidt was one of the greatest power hitters of all time and was probably the greatest Phillies player of all time (a title perhaps shared with Jimmie Foxx). Despite that talent, other fans in the National League really didn't like him. His intensity and fire got him into some scuffles on the field and, predictably, that didn't endear him to fans around the league. Most fans can recognize what a great talent he was, but those same fans hate his guts.

</figcaption>

[h=3]1. Atlanta Braves - John Rocker[/h] <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(max-width: 699px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/06/John-Rocker-300x168.jpg"> <source class="listview-picture-source" media="(min-width: 700px)" data-srcset="http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2014/06/John-Rocker.jpg">

<figcaption style="height: 126px; visibility: visible;" class="listview-main-item-description-overlay vert-center"> Hated By: Everybody. Pardon the pun, but the Braves pitcher was off his rocker. Even though he was one of the most dominant relievers in his prime, his career quickly fell apart after his controversial comments regarding the ethnic and diverse population of New York City. Since they rightfully questioned his morals following his controversial comments, fans began to hate him fiercely until nothing was left of his once-promising big league career.

Being from Chicago I revmember this guy being a useless Cub signing with some horrible stats:

Todd Hundley:
"When the Cubs signed him, we were looking for a top-level catcher. The numbers he put up with the Mets and Dodgers were there. There was also the Cubbie blue-blood line of him being the direct descendant of one of the most loved Cubs of all time. What we wound up with was a hard-drinking, pouty, underachieving, way overpaid player.

What puts Hundley on the list is not as much the terrible play. Lord knows we've seen plenty of that as Cubs fans. It was the single-finger salute he gave the fans when he hit a home run during his dry spell. He tried to push it off as a shot at Reds fans heckling him, but when it smells like a turd, looks like a turd, and feels like a turd. It is, like Todd, a turd."

So great to see him get what he deserves. Barrett is a folk hero in Chicago since this.

I would list Starlin Castro as my most hated Cub. Spent too much time with Soriano early in his career and is corrupted since his contract....Lazy as fuck and no concentration.

The overall player I hate most is Pierzynski.

The CUB I hate the most is probably LaTroy Hawkins. Castro is lazy though.

Lot of HOF's on that list.
Guess that's why opposing fans hated them
