He does have Nadal on his side-- Rafa is a shadow of his former self, Nole should dispatch the Spaniard with ease if they do face. Nole did not win either of the hardcourt warmup tournies leading to Flushing; lost to Murray in Montreal, smoked by Fed in Cinci

Nishikori- ranked 4th in the world.. Shall Flushing be his breakout in a major? He has a good draw- on pace to face Nole in the semi's. Kei crushed Nadal in Montreal in straights, 47-11 ytd, 3 tournament titles.

Serena certainly didn't get an easy draw!! To face in form Sloane Stephens (recently won The Citi open) in the 3rd round. Sloane beat Serena in a major, the 2013 Aussie Open. Serena could face Bencic in the qtr finals ; Bencic beat Serena a few weeks ago in the final at Toronto.


the bottom half favs are ; halep, kvitova. Kvitova would be the bigger danger to Serena

Just checked back in to see your response now. I played the nadal/coric over 36. I got lucky it barely went over. But I've been going over on all of nadals matches lately. Coric has heart and belief..he's the future. About to look at stuff for tomorrow. I like your Murray future though. I think Serena will lose but I could be wrong
