Looking to fill up an entertainment room with interesting stuff.

I'm sure most sites that sell autographed movie memorabilia is legit since they would obviously get sued if any celebs found out they were selling fake material, but is anyone familiar with this?

Probably eBay but make sure the company is legit.

SportsWorld is a big memorabilia company around here and they use eBay for a lot of stuff. I sold them a Dexter Manley game worn jersey a little while ago.

Never buy from charities - most signed items are forgeries in charity auctions.

Hache, I have an entertainment/improvised movie theater room in my house and have the walls filled with movie memorabilia and DO stay away from E-bay if you want legitimate autographs unless you want to collect movie and television autograph trading cards from companies like Rittenhouse archives or well known sport card makers like topps, donruss and Leaf that have a non-sport celebrity autograph card division, these legitimate cards are big business on e-bay and if you ever want to collect them you can always sell them back on e-bay somewhere down the line you can with no problem as opposed to random pictures of celebrities that were supposedly signed by the star( but who knows for sure) and are almost impossible to verify as authentic (with so many talented forgers and scammers on e-bay)and sell should you want to. I have a large collection of these cards and after Leonard Nimoy and Christopher Lee died recently i was able to sell them for $350 and $180 respectively. But since you want a movie memorabilia room with big posters of authentic autographs of the stars just do what i did and take advantage of the conventions that come through Orlando like Mega-con and spooky empire. These conventions are filled with celebrities doing signings for a fee and many vendors selling movie posters from the celebs on hand, for example a few years back i got a Rob Zombie DEVILS REJECTS poster from the spooky empire halloween convention and had Sid Haig and Bill Mosely who were on hand for the convention sign them and a Dawn of the dead Original movie poster that i had George Romero sign as well ( its also fun to meet these guys) I've been doing the convention circuit in Orlando many years now and while it has taken some years of collecting the entertainment room in my house is pretty impressive and any guests i have over always love to look at my collection

As a matter of fact Hache you can get a few gems next month at the spooky empire convention as i have just checked the website, Burt Reynolds will be there, Neve Campbell and Skeet Ulrich from scream will be there, as well as Malcolm Mcdowell from A clockwork orange and the Halloween remakes. George Romero too. Heres the link http://www.spookyempire.com/media-guests/
