I think you're in the Chicago area, here are some discount airlines I know about..
https://www.allegiantair.com/interactive-routemap

and Frontier has $49 one way flights from Chicago to Orlando

Now these are discount airlines, it's never a pleasant flying experience. Southwest IMO isn't discount compared (southwest usually is same price or even cheaper unless its a sale) but SW seats, amenities, CS, on time flights blow away both frontier and Alliegiant. But sometimes its about dollars...
These cheap-o's nickle and time you with seat selection, baggage, no wifi or free sodas on board... smaller seats, definitely uncomfortable and cramped for taller/bigger people.

100 % correct...

The wife and I flew outta So. Bend, In. (last winter to our condo in Ft Myers) to save $$$

went w/ Alliegiant...3 things

1...SO. Bend Airport is w/o a doubt one of the BEST and EASIEST airports to get in and out (TSA) very small
2...you're right about the amenities (zero free & no drinks)...Hell, I'm 6'6...it was a little rough....on the way there.....on the way back...they changed our plane (for whatever reason and gave us a BIGGER PLANE and free EVERYTHING...lol...much better
3... when we came back it was -20 below zero (no heated parking)...are car barely started and my DICK almost froze and fell off

otherwise ...things were good

leaving outta Midway in 2 weeks as well as in Dec again...( will no have problems)
