Anyone get a good deal this year? Anyone get it for free by threatening to cancel? What's the best prices you've seen or got? Refuse to pay the full price, and unfortunately with dtv you can't just get redzone channel.

They've been tough & not budging much......probably because AT&T has bought them.

The FTC is suing DTV in court over charging & huge increases on customers bills......also for lying about locked in pricing while the prices increase for no reason.

Good luck getting it for free......don't see that happening unless you're a new customer.

They might take off $50 if you ask tho........

Free NFL sunday ticket max for free. Guy said it has some changes this season which is suppose to be better. Call, say change programming, talk to rep., tell him the only reason i have directv is for sunday ticket. Not interested in paying for it so im switching to another provider.

It has its flaws but every cable company does. Direct TV is by far the best for sports. They had the US Open going every court pretty much. Game mix just like football. I was impressed. While other networks were showing just the top guys or serena on only one channel

i got it for free, but had to pay $100 for MAX, which i choose to do

my lady was amazing and upfront...
she said she doesn't work in the retention department but was getting overflow calls..

she basically told me, they can only offer what they see on the screen.

she literally clicked everything she could for me. not only did I get Ticket free (not max- she swore it was impossible) but i got all my equipment upgraded, 2 additional receivers, 6 payments of $17 a month for Max, and my bill is $40 cheaper a month than what it was when I called. so basically 60 cheaper a month when you subtract the additional max payment...

guess i got lucky

I elected to not get new equipment because it required to sign a new contract. Guy told me some changes this year to the ticket. No more channel with 8 games. Suppose to be 4 games that you can actually see. Also more useful fantasy info.

Watching 8 games at once on a 65 inch TV is awesome........I didn't hear anything about only 4 games at once.

Would be nice if they had separate channels with 8 games, & 4 games as you stated.

I remember before HD, I would watch the 8 games on a channel that wasn't as clear as today's HD 1080p.......huge difference!

Lol sit close.

lol

it wasn't necessarily the size of the game that bothered me the most

you know how whatever game is highlighted the sound plays on that one.. it was the amount of time it took to switch the cursor and for everything to take affect.

would be pretty dope if you could choose Which4 games you wanted on there

I moved in July and when I called in June to schedule it, the girl upgraded all my equipment and gave me Sunday ticket for free. Works for me!

Yeah it would get stuck or freeze up. The cursor would vanish then pop back up after a few minutes. I usually have two tvs going right next together. One with the gamemix channel and one with whatever game I want to watch fully. The redzone shit is whack IMO. No one should endure the NFL that way. Some geek bringing you plays that happened 3 minutes ago. Same with the ps4/xbox offers. What is it $20 for nfl sunday ticket? But each game would have to buffer and it's a stream. By the time you want to check in on a game the drive will be over probably.
