Marshawn Lynch's mom, Delisa Lynch, thinks Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell made the right call giving her son the ball on fourth-and-1 from the Rams' 43 in the team's 34-31 overtime loss Sunday to St. Louis.

But she also thinks Bevell should have been fired after last season's Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots.

In a post on her Facebook page, Delisa called Bevell "the worst playcaller ever" and suggested he gave the ball to Lynch in a critical spot Sunday to make up for the interception that ended Super Bowl XLIX.

"Too the smart azz media who wrote that's why marshawn didn't get the ball in the superbowl ,how many times did russell get sacked yesterday," Delisa wrote in the Facebook post. "Dont worry i will wait on the answer plus it was totally different at the superbowl the line was better than yesterday no blocking and to the offense caller who should have been fired yes i said it Fired !!! He is the worst play-caller ever the only reason he called that dumb azz play yesterday is to be able to justify the 1 yard that wasn't called in the superbowl ,but most fans already figured this out .were still on a mission but i know the Seahawks staff loves that play caller more than a win ,go figure ‪#‎nfldontpayme# I love this team and will stand up to anybody who tries to destroy it boom!!!!"

The Seahawks' offensive line was pushed back on the final play Sunday, and Lynch was stopped behind the line of scrimmage to seal St. Louis' win.

She's dumb all right but she was at least smart enough to know they should have run the ball in the Super Bowl. How dumb does that make Pete and oc look.

I think her and the rest of the world thought that except for Pete.

He shouldn't have made it a day past the SB.

If you're in a profession and you make a decision that is quite possibly the worst decision ever made in your field and you lose the company money or whatever, you'd be fired that day.

I'm sure either Pete made the call or if he didn't like it he could have changed it. Unless of course you were referring to Pete.

Notice how Olivia Manning or Kathy Luck don't talk about this kinda stuff. Black parents are the worst. Even non NFL because they want their kid in the NFL so bad because it is their only chance out of poverty before he gets arrested for weed.

lets run the ball on second down, lets get stuffed

now what happens?
1) you lose your last time out
2) you're locked into passing on 3rd down lest you let the clock run out
3) 4th down is a crap shoot

by passing a pass that wasn't intercepted all year in the NFL (0-120) you

1) give yourself your best option for using all three downs
2) the run is a viable option on third since you have your timeout left keeping the Patriots off balance
3) 4th down is a crap shoot

Pete knows this, Pete game planned for this, Pete didn't make that decision in a vacuum, Pete said he thought they had an advantage in the passing game against the goal line defense (duh, do you think? oh never mind)

what Pete didn't know is that BB practiced against that very play for two weeks and that Butler would recognize that play, jump it from 10 yards deep and make a sensational play on the ball resulting in the very first (and only) interception of the season on a ball passed from the 1. Thus Pete shockingly never had a chance to execute the game plan he brought to the table.

Pete was 1,001x more prepared in that spot than every Monday morning QB combined

get over it already

I think they called a play they thought would succeed, and whatever they called I believe they thought about for 2 weeks

they wouldn't want to risk a sack or tackle, that too would defeat their strategy

they expected the worst case was an incomplete pass and they have two more chances with one time out

I do think they would have run on third down, if that didn't work they use their last timeout and on 4th down they do put Wilson in motion just like you're suggesting

Obviously, I'm speculating here, I wish Pete would elaborate on what he was thinking (maybe he has but it doesn't fit ESPN's agenda so I haven't heard)

Throwing on 1 of the 3 plays is fine but that play is so high risk in that spot.

You gotta know you have 3 cracks at it and have a major advantage on the ground.

Danny Ainge once said "The Pistons forgot about 1 thing, they forgot about Larry Bird"

Well Pete Carroll forgot about one thing, he forgot about Malcolm Butler.

That's me. The worst play call in the history of professional sports.

With a chance to win the Super Bowl, you give the ball to Michael Jordan not Will Perdue.

The sports media is such a joke though. How does this make an ESPN headline? Who cares what a players mom thinks. I'm sure guys bitch to their family members about coaches all the time.

No different than people bitching about their bosses.

This entire thing was orchestrated by the genius Bill Belichick......he knew by not calling a time out in the super bowl, this thing would snowball and Lynch's mom would end up taking the heat and deflategate and head sets would go to the back page. Damn that pats coach is something else.
