Techincal Help - PC to TV

So I've been streaming from my PC to my TV in the bedroom but moved it to the Living room for tonight...

It's very strange, so I plug it in (this is a brand new tv) and what shows up is the picture that is my desktop background. NOTE NOT the desktop, or the icon, Just the picture that is my background picture...So like if I move an icon and drop it in the center of the picture, it doesn't show. no curser, no window changes, only the picture of the background photo...

I play the show and the sound comes through the tv, but still just the photo of my background shows.. help?

it is on extended desktop probably

go to display settings and select "duplicate"

or try dragging what u want to see off your screen and see if it shows up on the TV!

Move ur cursor off the screen to the right or to the left. Does it show up on the TV? If so, just drag ur video player off screen to that side.

got it.. nm you have to drag the window to the far right or left... and it drops the screen in there, so basically you can use your computer without showing up on the tv, while streaming up there.. pretty cool stuff
