can someone tell me why the Eagles & Hawks acquired Murray & Graham, respectively?

sure seems silly to pay all that money for smalltime roll players

Way too early.....Eagles did the right thing.....but you know Grahm will suffer because of Wilson.....just going to take time for Wilson to realize he has a nice weapon

Sea looked at it's best with Wilson running the ball.

Yeah Eagles were right to go Murray over McCoy. Just a better player right now. Their problem the first two weeks was more OL based.
FF wise, Murray was overvalued to begin the year regardless. Huge workload last year, worse offense/OL and a very crowded backfield with Matthews and Sproles.

Graham I think will be fine fantasy wise though. Seattle probably throws the ball more this year than the past 3 since their defense doesn't look like it is by far the best in the NFL anymore. He had 50 and a TD week 1 fwiw.

Going to assume chop took Graham in the RX league since he thinks he is the best TE of all time, what rd did he go in there?

Murray wasn't a bad pickup. He's better than Mccoy.

However, Graham makes zero sense in Seattle. They need a blocking TE and graham is one of the worst blocking TE's in football.

Graham went 3rd round, 29th overall

Brees went 4th round, 44th overall

both to Chopper's Saints. If I recall correctly, he was especially giddy after landing Brees

Obviously Gronk is in a league of his own but yeah 29th might end up looking bad because some of these lower picked young TEs may be emerging and close the gap between Graham and a fantasy avg TE. Guys like Eifert, Cameron, Kelce, Reed, Ertz, Ebron.

We'll see if they can keep it up. Lot of TEs fade statistically after hot starts once teams adjust.

Graham was a steal, unger was done and the hawks needed a real red zone threat to not just catch balls but open up room for Lynch or whomever else. The hawks offence is very bland and conservative, either the oc is gonna figure out a way to get more out of Graham or he'll be on his way out, the vultures are roaming around him but the hawks needed a player of his skill set. You saw what Matthews did in one game with the hawks in the superbowl, thats what a big target is capable of with Russ but they (russ and graham) need time to get on the same page. Wouldn't write the experiment off just yet.

chip kelly made a ton of moves without much thought expecting to be able to land mariota. he's failing now without a mobile QB which for the life of me i can't understand why he hasn't got one. he is undoubtedly leaving philly after this year
