H21 Payoff Playoff Thread

Those that followed saw me go +90 units in weeks and lose it all back. Stopped posting for a bit and pretty much tailed XS and a few others. Got some juice back and ready to unload it on these playoffs. Let's get the $$$$

YanKees bats are struggling. I think there is a fight for them to win with Yogi looking down on them but I just can't see that beating the Stros. The Stros have struggled late but this is do or die and I see this team pulling it together and playing as a TEAM. Yankees will rebuild after this year and I think the shinanigans pulled by CC will damper some spirits in that dugout. I see some bats come alive before the 5th for the Stros and I think 4 runs gets it done in the end. Tanaka is a great pitcher but has had his issues this year and IMHO I would have talked CC into staying and giving him the rock to bring the 1 game playoff home. Just can't see the Yanks playing team ball here. Go Stros!

Congrats on a good night.

+12.9Pirates tonight lady's and gents. Must we not forget it's the Cubs. Cubs=Lose The buzz is high in the Burgh right now. Great time of year there. Cool temps, Penguins getting started, Steelers looking strong (when healthy) and the Bucos in the playoff game. There was one of the Cardinals being quoted saying they would rather play the Cubs. Motivation for the Bucs. Jake is a beast. Pitt will take pitches and run his pitch count up to get him out of there by the 6-7th inning. Cole will keep the bats quite and the Pirates will see some daylight late in the game. Pitt has been in this situation before...two years in a row. Cubs have not. Pirates also have the same faces that have won and lost in this 1 game playoff. They will be ready tonight and the town will be a buzz!!! Dude is a beast. Damn it! Being a Pirates fan it sucks that we have been in this 1 game playoff position 3 years in a row. Hats off to the Cubs. I have to think that this may be their year. Back to the Future Karma. Lol. Moving on....

Rangers have some hot bats and seem to have that edge that could very well take them to the big show. However history tells us that Toronto will win the World Series. 100 year history that is. I think there is a lot of hype for the Jays going into the playoffs and everyone thinks it will be a walk in the park for Toronto. Game 1 I see going to the Rangers. But think Toronto wins the series. Plus it's the playoffs and I will take this nice payout if it does hit.

Royals may sweep the Astros. That's all I got for this series.

Shocked by the lack of enthusiasm these home team crowds are showing. It's the playoffs!!! Not just another game. Waving a towel won't win the game. Seeing the crowd sitting in the first inning is a joke. In the past these home crowds would be going nuts. No one sitting and you would have trouble hearing the announcers at times. Unreal IMHO. With that said, I see a few series going 1-1 today. I think the Astros lose today but go home and finish the Royals. Tough call as I have the Royals winning it all this year. But the crowd will get behind Houston. That place will erupt and they will move on and maybe even make the WS.

Blue Jays win big today. Texas will be rocking when they get back home as well. But still like the Jays to win it maybe in 5.

Cardinals are Cardinals. They beat Lester today in a 3-1 type game but don't sleep on the Cubs. Just tough to win in St Louis.

Love the Mets and think they come out blazing against Clayton. Think the Mets will shock the world and make a run to the WS. All depends on the young guns. If they can hold it together they will get it done. The bats will wake up and I think the Dodgers leave after this series. What a huge waist of money.

Unders seem to be the trend so far. Does that change today??? I say yes it does and in the early game. Let's get some of that book money today! GL!!

Royals have been here before. Dude can pitch and he can pitch at home even better. I have a fear that the luck ran out last game for the Stros. I love getting this much + on the Royals too. But again my initial thought days ago was that the Houston crowd will be blowing the roof off the place and that will have a HUGE impact. Last, Colby comes back down from LaLa land and goes 0'fer. Let's see how this works....and tail lightly if you tail at all.
