i've come to the conclusion that i am really losing my interest in sports.i just don't mean wagering on it, but altogether.i could care less to watch it anymore,i care less about doing the homework for the handicapping part of it,and its not a top priority like it was before.i find myself doing other things on gamedays if there is something else id rather do at that time.sometimes i watch a show or movie over sports anymore and all this was never me.

Years ago i gave up on the NBA cause i came to hate it and this past year i watched much less college basketball and as ive said i have become to lose interest in the NFL as if i find something better to do ill give up watching the NFL game.......i know its been a rough year for me health wise and its still a struggle everyday for me but actually there is very little i care about these days

I hope your health gets better, sports can wait.
When you feel better, sports still won't matter.
Just get healthy,bud.

Dont feel bad about this at all. Sports on tv years ago was a novelty. This day and age you can watch anything at anytime. The novelty of it is going by the wayside. Enjoy life as much as you can. I am 43 and I can honestly say that I dont watch sports nearly as much as I used to, Id rather spend it being a productive human being while I am able to. Keep your head up and watch sports only as a side gig and as a form of entertainment when you feel like it. All the best to you going forward.

Hang in there Key! spend some time outdoors if you can...but in the meantime the USA soccer game and dodgers/mets games both pretty exciting action tonight! Be well brother....I'm headed to Vegas next weekend (only for ~36 hours, but I can't wait)! Will be thinking of you when I swing by the Silverton!

K/man......you have always been a great capper and person on here. I enjoyed and appreciate the efforts that you go thru each week for the RX.

I know from my past, the entertainment value has changed as I've gotten older. I still enjoy the RX and many of the cappers here, but I know after
the games go off we (my wife and I) go for a walk on the beach or around the lake for entertainment. I'm sure health comes into what you can and
can't do. Changing the daily schedule from time to time has always helped. Sometimes just missing one of the sports for that season is just what you need.

What ever you decide, I sure have enjoyed your threads and our conversations...........I wish you nothing but the best............indy

Outside of gambling I don't watch sports other than some games that might be considered important.

+1 If there was no risk involved, sports bore me, except NHL playoffs.

i appreciate everyone's comments and your advice that you all shared with me.there have been all great ideas posted in a very positive way.i really like the RX and plan to hang around here still from time to time but might not be involved in many threads........i must say this though, the only real good times i have with the sports deal is when im in vegas for march madness and the opening week of football as its just a whole different perspective for me and i assume for everybody else.

i appreciate the way you all shared your caring for my health which means a lot to me and i have stress test scheduled for the 27th which i hope comes back in a positive way

Key, could have something to do with your health but just keep in mind that we all worry for nothing because everything usually turns out fine right?... :)

Taking a break sometimes is the best thing you can do. You can get a better perspective.

Feel like doing that myself for a long while. My problem has always been not taking what I want in life. Relations, gambling, etc... I'm far from always right, but if I did what I wanted, I would be ahead in many of ways. Just not meant to be for some. Just the way it goes sometimes.

the most important thing here is getting your mind right.. mind right usually means getting right and trickling down in all areas..

Keyman the most important thing is your health , i hope everything improves. Dont worry about losing interest it happens to everybody , you'll probably get it back. ...My advise is just watch games or events that you are interested in , and stay away from stuff like talk radio and sportscenter and pregame shows. Too much tabloid type overkill that leads to burnout.

Health first... then start watching games in CFB once the playoff situation heats up and you will grow to like it again.
