If there are 30 players who want to play...that's $500 to winner and $100 for second place.

I'll pay JOH to run the weekend contest...ONLY Saturday and Sunday games for the season.

Let me know if you are interested...will respond from there.

JOH, haven't ask you but I'll take care of you if you agree. Love to get some young college kids involved who know their hockey but money is tight for big contest entry fees.

Weekend betting could be FUN for many here at RX at a cost of a pizza. Depends on forum response.

Understand my friend....think back a few years especially your college days.

Had a few hundreds to throw around????

Maybe you did...most college kids DON'T. Great to get them involved where affortable
for them to get involved in a sport they love.

Start a $1000 contest with JOH running it...I'll join...how many others?

The $100 was decided when 8 people said they would join for $100. We should get about 20-25 I would think. A couple people have already paid as well.

$100 entry is fine for a forum like the RX.....no one disagrees.

What turns OFF anyone (ME) who wants to enter a contest is the CIA INVESTATION.

None off your XXXXXXX business my name outside of the RXFORUM or any other information.

Hell, I just had a simple contest where the winner PM me his name and address and he was sent the money.

The same can be done for ANY contest here at RX.....ANY fucken contest.

I guess I'm not understanding what the issue is. What's a CIA Investation?

I'm retired, love fishing, golf (awful) and gaming (Not Bad). Great bunch of friends who enjoy the same.

None of us are in it for the money. Winning for us helps others.....Meals On Wheels, Seniors Help Program,
Kids...Kids....Kids....Kids...seems no one really gives a rat's ass about some of out kids. Prance, dance,
have a fucken march, give a selfserving speech, hold a forum..........all BULLSHIT for a young kid.

We are a bunch of OLD WHITE FUCKERS who have helped our community.

Thanks for the offer Cloverleaf but one season long contest is enough for me. Last year we had up to 28 players that I posted lines and graded for 174 straight days. Sorry but after that, I was wiped... even spent 5 days in the hospital toward the end. That's how much it got to me. lol.

Why dont we do something like $10 or $20 for a Saturday HNIC only contest. Must have a P-aypal account. If you want in on any particular Saturday during the season, make sure your $20..or even $10 if we just wanted to make it fun, is in and your good to go that week. We come up with a set of rules and the guy at the end of the day wins the pot. Anyone can get in over the course of the season as long as you have a PP for easy transfer of the cash to the winner. You win and we get 10 guys anting up $20 and you have $200 in your account the next day to spend. Seems easy and it could grow into something. If your short on funds or the card doesn't look good to you....you don't have to join this week. I'd rather someone else collect the funds as I have 3 other contests I run as well as sell rigged Amazon FireTv boxes [plug]. But if no takers i'd do it. What do you guys think? We could post a thread every Saturday morning and we post our plays in the thread with the posted lines or we use live lines as long as they are verifiable with a link.

I think this one has some promise guys. Easy to join, easy to pay and easy to pay out.

Who dont need a little extra spending money each week? Its like playing the powerball with a smaller payout.

I’ll be in two season long contests, plus fantasy league, starting in another 3 weeks so I’m not interested in another but the HNIC idea by Bushay would be something I’d absolutely do. Who says anyone has to hold the money? Why not just pay the winner directly via PP on Sunday? If someone slow pays or even no pays they aren’t allowed back in.

I can live with either stale lines or live.

Maybe set it up similar to how cloverleaf did his $100 contest. Each contestant picks a certain number of set plays and whoever nets the largest amount wins the pot. Perhaps a first and second place prize?

I would do that, you don't have to play every week. I think it's a great idea. I thought about bourns $100 season long contest, but frankly, I think I'm overmatched with some of the guys. It would like a $20 parlay. It would almost be like once a week daily fantasy league, instead you just pick teams with the juice being kind of like the salary cap. I would play something like that
