Stroman has a great arm.

Love the kid.

But can someone please explain this to me?

I simply do not get this.

Dickey was pitching fine.

Something is going on here.

If I am managing the Blue Jays, I start David Price in game five.

Again, Stroman has a fantastic arm, but that made no sense to use Price there.

Dickey had 2-outs, and 1 runner on.

I think Gibbons is going by how they pitched their first games. Price said in post interview he was a bit nervous. He didn't pitch well in game 1, not sure if it was the 10 day rest or nerves. Think Stroman isn't phased by pressure so you're gonna get the same pitching from him in game 5 as you saw in game 2.

Understandable.

But he is David Price, and the Blue Jays made a blockbuster trade to acquire him.

I do not think they would have made the same trade to acquire Marcus Stroman.

Stroman is electric, but Gibbons had the best of both worlds for game five.

Price to start and if any trouble?

Stroman next man in.

And a 7-1 lead. I will never understand this one!

Me neither.

Especially if Price does not go 5 and 1/3rd innings the rest of the way.

If Gibbons goes to his pen for any reason today, it will be an even bigger head scratcher.

Now Stroman is up in the pen. Is Gibbons on crack? Why in the hell would you have your game 5 starter in the pen up 6 in the 8th?

Be wary of Price. as he seems to choke in playoff baseball, he should not even be in this game, personally i don't care what he has done in regular season, i have no faith in him in these important games, just sayin! GL!

Simply amazing.

Gibbons used Price in the 5th inning, and now has to remove him in the b-8th.

One of the more bizzare managerial moves I have seen.

Here comes Sanchez, because a starting pitcher, used as a long reliever could not get 4 more outs.

Today's game is pretty much why Gibbons was fired as the Blue Jays manager.

He is one odd duck.

I like starting Stroman but cannot see wasting Price with a 7 run lead. Time to get him out before he makes this interesting.

Not to mention his bone head decision to leave in Cecil a lefty to face Napoli a righty in Game 2.

Gibbons had it all.

All the chips.

He could have had both Price and Stroman available in game 5.

Instead he removed Dickey with 1 on and 2 out in the 5th?

It was the wrong move.

Sunday night, the Blue Jays lineup took back this series, and it continued today.

Then Gibbons decided he wanted to show how smart he was.

Dumb.

If I was not watching this game, and someone told me about it.

I would laugh my ass off that Osuna would be used in the b-9th.

Far from Gibbons' best day.

More like one of his worst.

Stroman for all the marbles.

Hope the pressure does not effect the kid.

Agree. Poor manager. Never ever plays small ball and could have several times in game 2. Bringing in price is one of the dumbest decisions I have seen in 30 years. What did the media say?

Tony thanks for the laughs.. Was funny to read this thread. Yeah, I agree with your statements. Is he on crack? Who is he going to start next game?
