Why dont we do something like $10 or $20 for a Saturday HNIC only contest. Must have a P-aypal account. If you want in on any particular Saturday during the season, make sure your $20..or even $10 if we just wanted to make it fun, is in and your good to go that week. We come up with a set of rules and the guy at the end of the day wins the pot. Anyone can get in over the course of the season as long as you have a PP for easy transfer of the cash to the winner. You win and we get 10 guys anting up $20 and you have $200 in your account the next day to spend. Seems easy and it could grow into something. If your short on funds or the card doesn't look good to you....you don't have to join this week.

Not saying every game. Everyone makes the same number of plays from the entire card. Say everyone needs to make 3 plays, or 5 or, whatever. Best net profit wins.

Lets use more than just sides and totals. I’d like to include puck lines and 60 minute.

$10 makes sense for the beginning.

Chime in with any thoughts.

I'm in. $10 is even better. I would go for 3/5 minimum plays, maybe a limit on maximum plays, that would help whoever is going to grade the plays.

I think it is great anyone can play at any point, but not to be negative, but I think there could be non payers

I say have a maximum of 5 plays all made in one post. No stringing bets in during the course of the day. You can play fewer if you want.

Allow sides, totals, and puck lines. One post using Pinnacle lines will be copy and pasted early in the morning. We’ll use these lines so it might be in your better interest to wait till after lines move. All plays must be time stamped in your post before your first game.

You must have a working PP account.

Anything I’m forgetting?

Must pay by Sunday or Monday at the very latest or your ineligible the following week. And what if you win and you DO get stiffed? Should we have a policy in place for that? Cant see anyone getting stuck for over $10. $20 at best. Would be easy to disappear and not return. This is something we can add to later but maybe a min. post count or some sort of eligibility clause. Maybe i'm over thinking this. If its just this little group of everyone who's commented, i'm not too concerned about. If this reaches 20 guys down the road for a week, we should have something in place but we can deal with that when we get there.

I like the idea of using puck lines and reg only lines on top of the money line. The more options the better, in my opinion. With only 5 bets its a good risk/reward to try and win that top spot. Also really like the idea of not having to play every week. I Don't know if it's been said yet but I think everyone's plays should be in before the puck drop of the first game not before they for action play. If you see someone cleaned up in the first game you might not want to play because of his lead, or it might lead you to bet a certain lines to try and get the best return. Just makes it more of an even playing field for everyone. If it's a case of 1 early game(1pm EST) maybe just omit that game from the contest. I also agree with Bushay about some kind of min. post or something to keep it honest especially if a bunch of 'random' people start playing.

my 2 cents.

ok. i have a solution. it your interested in playing you send $10 off the bat to one of us. this way you cant stiff anyone. if you lose and have no interest in playing another week, your $10 will be forwarded to the winner that week. would not encourage it but if you wanted to play again you send another $10 spot. Problem solved. easy solution.

I agree with this concerning anyone that is not a regular to this forum but if we all start sending $10 around to another player then send more funds a day later to the eventual weekly winner it’ll put too many red flags up to PP. Too many transactions.

Agreed. Sides, Totals, Puck Lines, Regulation line, (-.5)

All selections must be in before puck drop of the earliest evening game on the card. All games starting before 7:00 pm EST will be omitted.

I like it too but can't we make it YOU MUST make 5 plays, no less or no more?

5 plays is cool with me. Not crazy about the -.5 lines though. Sides-totals-pucklines is enough for me. Why not keep it simple.

Personal favorite of mine. Adam also mention having it. I have the feeling Sherwood would want it as well.

You guys really love your hockey on this forum! This is a come and go as you please type deal right? I'm in the $100 season long one but this would be like a week to week type contest?

I already sent the money for the year long one. My main question was that this is a pick and choose type? You don't have to participate every Saturday, just the ones you choose to?

Correct. If your home watching hockey on any Saturday and want to take a chance on a 5 team parlay type contest, your welcome to play. You lose, just be ready to send the winner $10 by the following day.
