Bet more when you lose or win

This convo came up between me and a buddy interested to hear everyones take

do you wager more in a week your doing good or more in a week your doing bad

i guess im the oddball example im up money my self discipline is amazing

for example we can use lets say up 2k

the next week i suffer a bad beat and i bet like crazy

so do you bet more when up or when down me when i lose i bet crazy ill find stuff to bet when im up money my discipline diring the end of the week is great

it's what I do best and leads to some amazing runs

I bet small when a bad runs, in large part because they'll be less money in my accounts, and I step it up when doing well which leads to some really big hits

it doesn't always work, sometimes I just set the table and give it back, but I never lose more than I want to and it works well for me

when losing I never chase, never (not anymore anyhow, and not for a long long time)

I did both and that's why I don't gamble online anymore. I "think" I can pick more winners than losers but when I won a lot, I bet even more. When I lost a lot, I would chase. I'm not smart enough to know how to manage my money but I guess I'm smart enough to know I can't. When I'm in vegas for a few days much easier to do so simply once a year.
