Brock Landers can't win, can he?

He borrows (aka, steals) money from some poor lad. He doesn't pay him back... and the guy ask him for his money back, and Brock accidentally runs him over with his car as he's getting away.

Brock loses a 35-teamer, and disappointed he goes to the PD....

Or was that Laverty? I get confused on which thief is which.
