Ohio State's J.T. Barrett arrested

The Buckeyes QB was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired early this morning, according to ESPN's Brett McMurphy (first reported by ElevenWarriors). Barrett recently beat out Cardale Jones for the starting job. No. 1-ranked Ohio State is off this week.

I saw a video the other day where Urbs was talking to Bill O'reily and was talking about how he wouldve handled the Jameis Winston stealing crab legs thing differently. So lets see how he handles this.

The real downside for Barrett is that he doesn't play for Sark. Hell, When Sark was at USC you probably get a helmet sticker for a DUI. He just woud've been pissed that he didn't blow higher

Just curious how should he handle it? I believe the school has a system in place for such thing. I guess we'll see

Isn't he only a sophomore...which means he's also underage?

I dont care how he handles it. I really dont think its that big of a deal. My problem is that Urban seems to have different penalties depending on who the player is. In my personal opinion 1 or 2 games, but again, it wasn't a week ago he was on a book tour where he was touting his morals and how well behaved his team is. You can't stand on a podium saying how much morals you have and then slap a kid on the wrist when he gets a DUI

Sad thing is here you would lose your license until 21, ineligible for Financial Aid to go to any College, but since he plays football, it will all wash away and he will keep his scholie...

Should be immediately kicked off the team for the calendar year....would have to earn his way back on for the following year....

seems like Ohio St feels different than me...

Most DUI's are a 1-2 week suspension. It's serious, but players are almost always given a mulligan for a first offense in every program.

tOSU is spinning this the wrong way, and they look very stupid. It's a mandatory 2 week suspension at the school for an underage kid arrested for drinking or DUI. Now they are saying wait, it doesn't apply here because it wasn't a felony. LOL, that is so stupid. DUI's are never felonies unless it's a repeat offense or someone is hurt. So they have this policy and now they are ignoring it. If you want to spin it, all you had to do was say it's a two week suspension, and he misses one game, because the game he is going to play in would be after the two weeks.

It was a misdemeanor, so the rule doesn't apply. Hahahahahahahahaha.

Probably should not even been arrested. I could drink a fifth of vodka and drive just fine. I rather someone be driving drunk than shaking crazy driving from a heroin withdrawl driving. One is considered a crime and the latter is not.

Now ow the world gets to over react like he has alcohol issues because most college kids don't drink. Just like manziel. Everyone has a problem when they are arrested yet I guess u don't have a problem if u sit in your dorm room and drink a gallon of ever clear a day
