For those who are new to my threads let me explain the meaning of the above chart. I use offensive and defensive standard deviations, which I refer to as a efficiency index, to project the side and total of each game. At that point I compare those numbers to the line and if I have a substantial differential between the two I make a play. For instance, tonight, my projection for the BYU/SJ State game is BYU -2/SJ State +2, 56 1/2. The line is currently BYU -13/SJ State +13, 56 1/2. The side differential currently is 11 points providing us with SJ State line value. No totals are showing any value tonight. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
I'll take injuries, suspensions and arrests into account when you educate me on how many points each are worth as far as the line is concerned, and why lol. No, you actually have to do some of the work yourself. Feel free to adjust my line accordingly, depending on what circumstances you are concerned about.
Yeah, that's the difficult part of capping a game with issues. Temple's starting center is out tonight, that's an issue. I can't remember the game, but there was one last weekend, college or pro, where the starting center was out and the sub was an idiot, couldn't find the QB on shotguns. And if this RB Thomas is out, that's 2 TD's per game gone. Thinking under big in this game, Temple D is pretty good and w/o O, no way it goes over, but guess that's why it dropped 7 pts.
