PSA is all that I would use.

What do you mean signed?
By Jordan?

Believe it or not if the card is in great condition his signature would hurt the value of the card

Dallas — A Michael Jordan rookie card in top condition is expected to earn more than $80,000 at auction.
Heritage Auctions in Dallas is offering the card from 1986 in an online auction where it's expected to sell after midnight Thursday. The consigner wishes to remain anonymous.
Chris Ivy, Heritage's director of sports collectibles, says the Fleer card is one of only five Jordan rookie cards to get Beckett Grading Services' top grade of "Pristine 10."
Ivy says the card is dated to 1986, even though Jordan's first year with the Chicago Bulls was 1984, because basketball cards weren't manufactured from 1982 to 1984. He says Topps made them from 1968 until 1981 and then Fleer began printing them, offering "what is acknowledged by collectors as the true Jordan rookie."

PSA is all that I would use.
BGS is the ultimate for getting the best price but PSA is reputable also .

Looking at the BGS for 80k 5T just posted I'm surprised it got a 10.
Just looking at the pic it has some worn edges and a rounded corner.

NO NO NO.

If the card is in great condition Jordan's signature would bring the value of the card down.

For instance if Jordan signed that BGS 10 card selling for 80k the value would drop over 95%.

If your card is not a 9 or better his signature would raise the value of the card

So get the card graded.

If it's a 9 or better don't ever get it signed.

If is below a 9 you can get it signed.

The reason why his signature brings down the value of a pristine mint card is because a signature kills the cards grade.

There are only like a half dozen 9.5 to 10 Jordan rookies in the world.
If he were to sign one of those that would bring the value of that one down and the other 4 or 5 up because once the card is signed it's no longer in mint condition.

Even though it would be signed by Jordan , the value of his signature would not be enough to offset the downgrade of the the cards condition.

Lets say the fleer perfect 10 BGS Jordon card is worth 80k.

And Jordons signature is worth $500.

Once the card gets signed the condition would go from a 10 to about a 5 cutting the value from 80k down to less then 1k.
Then you add the $500 for his signature.
All of a sudden Jordan's signature just turned an 80k card into a $1500 card.

I know it sounds crazy but him signing it brings the value down.

Now if you had a lesser valued Jordan card later in his career that was worth only say $10 and you got him to sign that all of a sudden his signature would turn a $10 card into a $500 card.

So the rule is get the lower valued cards signed and leave the higher valued cards alone

I have no idea what his signature is worth but the point I was making was his signature brings the value down if the card is a valuable card graded in mint condition.

And I'm sure you would agree with that if you have the slightest idea about this subject

As a person who owned a sports memorabilia store for 18 years and still deals in high grade cards and signed memorabilia let me try and help the original poster. If you want to pull the highest value for your card then go the route of PSA. The odds of you getting any more then an 8 is very slim. Lots of games at these companies and it depends on who you know.

As far as getting the card signed by Jordan. Jordan hasnt signed this card in about 15 years and will not sign this card. He will also not sign any Nike items or Upperdeck items. He has an exclusive contract with Upperdeck. I have Chased Jordan for years and have had him 1 on 1 and he still wont sign. The last Signed 86 Fleer Jordan RC I sold was in 2001 and I got $4,500. They will go for a little more today PSA Or JSA graded. A Graded Jordan Auto will go anywhere from $200- $5,000 depending on the card so saying an autograph Jordan card is worth $500 is not accurate at all. You can get a UD signed Baseball for $300-600 a Basketball for $999-$1600. Signed UD Jerseys are the biggest value at $1500+
