I hear ya Mob......But she is a fighter......She talks plenty of smack......She wouldn`t touch gloves in the beginning of the fight.

Face the music.....Talk to media get out in the public eye.....Don`t hide you`re bruises.

I`ll say it again......True fighters are not ashamed of their battle wounds.

Good luck Mob!

You took the words out of my mouth

She's ashamed of herself.....Talking trash and can`t back it up....That`s what it comes down to.

She`s making it worse by covering her face..... Look at the camera smile and say ill be back.......Sign some autographs.....Fuck the poor sportsmanship.....She needs a new PR coach.

She has no class and never did. She was never that talented from the start. Media made her out to be something she never was and could never become. Holm has accomplished more in career than Ronda will ever. I do not count Judo either. Don't have any idea why the world thought it was an upset, I thought Ronda going into the fight was outclassed. Being involved in the fight game for over 30 years and 2000+ fights, I have seen it all. Some of the best forms of fighting are plain old boxing/striking period. Rhonda had none and never will. This media storm on building these fighters up is a disservice to the ones before. Jon Jones is next to fall hard. He is not that good either, but he fights in LW being a true HW. Marketing genius Dana wants him to forever stay there in LW. Makes him look good when fighters are much smaller then him. There is a reason why he won't go to HW. He would not beat one single top 10 fighter in HW.

The next to fall hard will be McGregor......Mark my words......His day is coming very soon.

Good luck!

I agree with that statement. I meant what I said as, shes a woman therefore she is going to care what sheooks like. I highly doubt a man would cover up his fight wounds with a pillow, it wouldn't be right.

I couldn't agree less here. I see BJJ and submission wrestling win more fights these days than anything. Even this past weekend locally, I saw two fights where guys were absolutely dominated on the feet for almost the entire 3 rounds to end up getting taken down and submitted with less than 10 seconds to go in the fight. It's humiliating, but a fact that guys with no ground game are in serious trouble when taken down, quickly.

Now, I'm not hating on stand up, I freaking love it, with Muay Thai being my favorite as the clinch game is where it is at. But, you must have both in MMA these days, and I will take wrestling and BJJ over boxing anyday...To top it off, most street fights end up on the ground, and I feel sorry for the guy that's never been there before...

I agree, but the average fighter also doesn't have the public image she does, and created for herself. I'm not trying to defend her, I'm loving this as much as you guys, but she does need to make a public statement ASAP on the subject, and I'm surprised it's not in her contract to do so. Definitely doesn't look good for her, that is for sure.

I agree with you 100%.....But what I`m doing is taking into account her cocky attitude.....Beating a man,not touching gloves, etc, etc.

If she won,she wouldn't have been hiding her face.....That's not what a true fighter/champion does......You take your defeats just like your wins......Show some dignity and respect.....You`re profession is a FIGHTER....Cowardly way to go in my opinion.

Good luck Mob!

I agree. She's in big trouble, and I think she knows it. She has no team backing hardly anymore, and folks soon forget how important a team is to a fighter. She has Travis Browne, who is an average fighter to boot, and happens to be banging her as well, which opened up another weakness in her game. Definitely seems to be in a downward spiral with things that escalated, quickly. Hopefully, she figures it all out, but it looks like to do so, she needs to ditch everything and completely start over. Not the easiest thing to do at the age of 29, but it may be the only way back in for her.

It all depends who the fighter is...it is rare for a super quick boxer/striker (talking elite) with great movement to be taken down and getting taken down without hitting you hard in the process. Liddell and Arlovski come to mind...great stand up and they were/are almost impossible to take down even from best BJJ/wrestlers. All depends on movement

The fight game has evolved. Lidell had nearly a 100% TDD. He is one of my favs of all time, but he struggled once taken down. Just take a look at the current roster of Champions on the UFC/Bellator roster. It's compiled mostly of wrestlers and submission artist. Straight boxing isn't being taught to MMA guys, Muay Thai is. The average boxer, even human, cannot take the punishment of a leg kick. I've seen fights stopped from them, and I have amassed over 2000+ fights in a 10 year span, not 30. Back on the local level we go again, a 51-2 Boxer fought for the first time in MMA this weekend. He lost in 52 seconds of the first Round. Who did he fight? An IKF World Champion Kickboxer, who happens to wrestle and do BJJ as well. Dude had no chance once he got the takedown, and tapped out to punches a few seconds later. I'm not hating on boxing, I love it, but it's so easy to see what forms of fighting are better to have in your arsenal for an MMA fighter. Take Holly Holm even for an example, her striking is elite, but you can guarantee she works more on TDD and her ground game way more now than her stand up. Stephen Thompson is another example. Probably has some of the best stand up in all of MMA, but his ground game has evolved tremendously in every fight since making it to the UFC, and it has gotten him into the Top 10 and a run at the Top 5...

Almost everyone I know has been hit with a punch before. Very few have had to defend an armbar or sub attempt. I'll take the punch to the face over a broken arm, any day...

Other than money (obviously)

Can anybody tell me two things....... With the talk about head trauma and such........ how can this even be considered a sport? It is just an activity for people (not always athletes) who desperately want to make some dough.

And more importantly....... Can anyone tell us any difference between this and what Mike Vick went to prison for. It is clearly just a case of slightly more intelligent promoters...... taking advantage of thuggish shitheels (the fighters).

Can’t treat a dog like this…… but it is OK for Rousey?

Not that hard to understand. .dogs have no choice or say so. How do you know those dogs don't rather just pee on fire hydrants or eat and sleep all day long. These are two adults agreeing and knowing what chance they are taking when they decide to fight. Same thing like sex, you wouldn't blink of it was two consenting adults but I'm sure you would be sick of it was jared from subway and some poor 10 year old kid that is innocent from all that and had no choice or say so in the matter
