bears -1

1. revenge game for john fox, adam gase, and jay cutler. maybe not cutler as much since its been many years since he left the broncos, but fox and gase for sure, and if anyone knows brock osweiler its them. they know him better than kubiak does for sure.

2. bears defense is quietly one of the better units in the league. they have the niners d coordinator from last yr, fangio. they are ranked 8th in the league and have played offenses like gb, az, sd. so its a good d.

3. cutler is in a groove right now. ever since alshon came back.

4. lankford stepped in for forte and hasnt been a drop off.

5. many people including myself had written the bears off after their 0-3 start and then they started jettisoning players. it looked like they were cleaning house for the future, but john fox has these guys playing well.

6. i'll take the bears at home in what i'm going to assume is a boisterous crowd against a qb making his 1st career start, especially since the bears coaching staff is so familiar with him..

jags -3

1. i'll take the better team (by a slight margin) over a team that is starting a rookie qb on a short week.
2. jags know they have a legit chance for the division, while tenn knows they aren't playing for anything but next year's contract.
3. wr hurns is probable to play.
4. bortles service
5. jags got a fake win last week, but they needed to win one of these close games to get their swagger. they have been close so many times over the past two years but alway fall short. i t

Leaning same way with Bears game......I figure Denver will let it all hang out next Sunday night vs Pats.

Denver will go thru the motions at Chicago.

reasons for chiefs pick
1. i believe kc makes run at division
2. sd has checked out, this leaving for LA cloud has hung over the team and brought them down
3. phillip rivers aka coach killer is the only talent on this beat up injured team
4. sd home games are not really home games anymore. many fans of whoever they play

Like Chi. Hot team, def actually playing better than Den last 3 weeks. But biggest factor for me, is while Osweiler is an unknown for rest of the league, both Fox and off coord know him very well, strengths and weaknesses, from their time in Den. Add to that Chi having thinned down the playbook for Cutler and pretty much told him not to improvize but run the play called, seems to have really improved Cutlers play.

redskins +7
1. this is a game carolina could be overlooking. titans were that game last week but the titans are too putrid to take advantage. carolina definitely left the door open in that game. i think the redskins have the offensive weapons to take advantage and stay within the number or possibly upset the panthers.
2. panthers have thanksgiving day game 4 days from now. they will save themselves for that battle on national tv
3. just too many points, leaves open the backdoor situation. i.e. panthers leading 24-13 with 2 minutes to go. redskins score a meaningless td with 20 sec left on the clock and miss the 2 pt conversion try. end up losing by 5 in a game that was never in doubt.

1. i think 7 pts is generous here. pats playmakers are injured as we all know.
2. rex ryan has played pats close in the past and the defense seems to have found its stride
3. i think its a 1 score game either way
